Moisturise, moisturise, moisturise!
Moisturiser is so often overlooked. But when it comes to keeping your skin happy and healthy, it should be a staple of your skincare routine – day and night.
After each time you bathe or shower, lathering up your go-to moisturiser should be one of the first things on your mind. As the hot water evaporates off of your skin, your skin starts to dry out quickly. Applying moisturiser while your skin is still damp will lock in all that much-needed moisture and plump up your skin for the day ahead.
Look for a moisturiser that is gentle enough to use every day, and avoid heavy fragrances that could irritate your skin. In the warmer months, it’s worth switching up your moisturiser to one that combines an SPF30+ to give your skin all the coverage and protection it needs.
Don’t forget to apply moisturiser before you go to bed! As you sleep, the moisturiser works alongside your skin cells to repair any damage done throughout the day.
