There is so much leopard print around right now, from scarves to coats to dresses, and now on to knitwear it seems you can't escape the animal print.
Leopard cardigans are the perfect cover-up for Spring when it's not quite warm enough to have bare arms. They're all over the High Street and available in a range of colours and shapes.

A new knitting magazine, The Knitter, has just been launched which interprets trends from the catwalk into patterns. Wow it really is winter isn't it? I can't seem to leave the house without at least five tops and two pairs of socks, not to mention countless layers on my legs! My current uniform (minus the layers for warmth) is a big jumper dress, leggings and over the knee boots.

The past few weeks have definitely been cold enough for it to be officially declared winter in the UK. Personally, I prefer the warmer summer months, but the silver lining of winter is that you can pile on the layers!

Knitwear is always on trend for Autumn/Winter, especially in the UK where we're forced to layer up to prepare ourselves for the constantly changing weather pattern.
This season at Paul & Joe Sister we see the nautical trend from Spring take a slightly more subtle turn for this Tolstoi tunic sweater (£100). It's one of those items that looks so cosy and warm that you can imagine a cool winters day spent at home wrapped up in it with a pair of leggings and thick socks.

Kirsten Dunst is really throwing herself into the fashion ring recently: first appearing in the Spring Miu Miu ads and now collaborating with luxe knitwear line Lutz + Patmos.
She follows in the footsteps of Liv Tyler, Sofia Coppola, and Julianne Moore, who have all designed for the cashmere-friendly label in the past, and her capsule collection debuts on Feb. 3, during the upcoming New York Fashion Week!

Knitwear is always an important trend for the Autumn/Winter months but this season the trend has a classic, heritage twist. However, to save confusion here is clarification of fair isle which is defined as,
"A sweater featuring a colorful geometric design, often knit in soft, heathered yarns. Named after one of the Shetland Islands in Scotland, the Fair Isle sweater became popular in the 1920s when worn by the duke of Windsor.
