Hollyoaks' Ricky Whittle and Carley Stenson Have Split
Strictly Come Dancing front runner Ricky Whittle and his Hollyoaks girlfriend Carley Stenson have split up. The costars started dating in October 2007. A Hollyoaks spokesperson said:
"Carley Stenson and Ricky Whittle have announced their decision to separate.
Eastenders Scoops Seven Inside Soap Awards!
Eastenders was the big winner at the Inside Soap Awards last night, taking home seven of the gongs including Best Soap! Lacey Turner won the Best Actress award for the third year in a row, while the soap also took the Best Bitch and Best Bad Boy awards for Charlie Brooks and Larry Lamb, whose award was presented by his son George. Coronation Street also did very well, taking home five awards including Sexiest Female for Michelle Keegan and Best Young Actor for little Alex Bain!
Shirtless Ricky Whittle: Sexy Sexy or Just So So?
Hollyoaks' Ricky Whittle has been busy denying rumours of a rift with Zoe Lucker and training for Strictly Come Dancing, which starts tomorrow, but he found time to strip off naked and pose for Cosmopolitan UK to raise awareness of male cancer for the Everyman campaign. Although he'll be wearing more than that when he takes to the dance floor, Ricky's not shy about using his assets to progress in the competition, promising he'll wear see-through tops and saying: "If it gets me to the final I'll dance in my thong!" Stars of Hollyoaks got dressed up again this weekend as they attended a charity ball at Chester race-course. Emma Rigby and Carley Stenson went for maxi gowns, whilst onscreen sisters Gemma Merna and Jennifer Metcalfe revealed a bit of leg. Sugar Bits — Eastenders Wins Big at British Soap Awards
- EastEnders was named Best Soap and picked up seven awards at the British Soap Awards, including Best Actor for Rob Kazinsky (Sean Slater) and Sexiest Male for Scott Maslen (Jack Branning). Coronation Street won six awards, while Hollyoaks left empty handed. — PA

Best Of 2008: Favourite British Soap
Throughout December I've been asking you all to vote for your favourites of 2008, and this week I'm announcing all the winners.
Hollyoaks, Eastenders, Emmerdale and Coronation Street battled it out for this title using their dramatic storylines, but in the end Hollyoaks got the most votes and will be crowned as your favourite British soap of 2008. A mention also must go to Eastenders, which I'm choosing as my soap of the year.

Since I'm addicted to television about as much as I'm addicted to beauty and blogging, I thought this would be a great opportunity to talk about some of the brightest beauty looks from the silver screen this year. Between the trendy nail polish shades that we see every week on The Hills, Serena and Blair's amazing hair on Gossip Girl, Joan Holloway and Betty Draper's perfect red lipstick from Mad Men and the sex appeal of Billie Piper, it really depends on my mood which styles I favour the most.
