Last night, on the first episode of Jessica Simpson's new show, The Price of Beauty, Jess and her friends went to Thailand. The show hit some of the big points of Thai beauty culture: massages, lightening products that can damage your skin, the Buddhist take on inner beauty, and a visit to the Karen Hill Tribe, famous for the brass rings women wear around their necks. It was a lot to pack into a half-hour time slot, and the show was interesting enough that I wish it were longer. Did you catch The Price of Beauty? If so, what did you think?

Beauty Byte: Gisele Launches Natural Skincare Line

Gisele Bündchen has sent the beauty blogosphere in to overdrive with the announcement of her new beauty line this week. The supermodel has teamed up with organic skincare brand Sejaa Pure Skincare on a new collection which launched yesterday.

The new collection includes day cream, night cream and a mud treatment (£37-46) – all made with 100 percent natural ingredients. The company posted the news on it's Facebook page.

Sejaa commented that, “(Gisele) was driven by the desire to develop a line of pure and natural skincare. [She] also wanted to create products with as little impact on the environment as possible. Using all-natural ingredients, calming fragrances, thoughtful packaging and recycled paper.”

This isn't the only ethical project Gisele involved with. She's also a UN Goodwill Ambassador and works regularly with the Agua Limpia clean water initiative. Perhaps she was inspired by her ex boyfriend Leonardo Dicaprio who is famous for his eco campaigning.

She isn't the first model to move in to the beauty world either. Kate Moss, of course, has her fragrances and Cindy Crawford also recently teamed up with Guthy Renker on a skincare line Meaningful Beauty.

It makes sense. After all, these models are known for their flawless beauty – it's the best advert ever! (Whether their stunning good looks are attainable for all of us, is another question.) Would you buy a beauty product created by a model?

Here's a Tuesday morning treat for you girls! Lancôme just unveiled its latest video ad with Julia Roberts, featuring the hotly anticipated Hypnôse Precious Cells Mascara (£22) which is due for launch in the UK next month.

The first ad for the product just launched last week on French shores, but this new extended version features Julia laughing, smiling and being photographed among lingering close-ups and atmospheric music. It's like a behind-the-scenes montage of a glamorous photo shoot. Julia, even aged 42, is also looking fabulous! Take a look at the video and let me know what you think?

Gisele Bündchen Launches Eco-Friendly Skincare Line

Can a $70 skin cream make us look like Gisele Bündchen? Probably not, but its eco-friendly bent could make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Today, the supermodel launches Sejaa, a 100-percent natural line by every stretch of the imagination, from the manufacturing process (windpower) down to the soy-based VOC-free inks used on the packaging.

Gisele, who was recently named the UN's Goodwill Ambassador for the Environment Program, decided upon the brand's name as a play on the word seja, meaning "to be" in Portuguese, her first language. The extra "a" was added at the end because "words have a vibration, and aaah! is an exhalation, what you feel when you let go," she told Vogue.

The three-product line, which is sold solely on the brand's website, consists of a Day Cream, Night Cream ($70), and Mud Mask ($56). It also features a Pure Skincare Kit ($120), which includes a two-ounce jar of each product, a spa towel, and a mud applicator. Love It or Hate It: Mel B's Shaved Head

Mel B is continuing to work her edgy new look. Last month, she showed up to the BRIT Music awards sporting a new shaved undercut and over the weekend she took it to another level at a Las Vegas Ceasar's Palace Celebrity event, sporting a shiny clean shave on one side.

The Secret Behind Jennifer Aniston's Sexy New Hair

For the April cover of W, Jennifer Aniston took a step away from her girl-next-door image. The sultry shoot was a little bit Kim Basinger in 9 1/2 Weeks, borrowing from Stella McCartney's spring collection.

Jennifer's famous locks were coiffed by her longtime stylist Chris McMillan, who told W that the secret behind the actress's tousled tresses was dirt - literally. "It's not her typical blown-out hairstyle," he said. "It's a little rougher. We liked seeing the flyaways."

After the first day of the shoot, McMillan allowed Jennifer's hair to dry naturally curly, refining it from there. For day two, photographer Steven Klein asked that Jennifer come prepared with unwashed hair. "We left her hair dirty. It just created a nice chunky texture," McMillan said.
