It's been quite the party week in London town with the Glamour awards and now the opening of the Royal Academy of Arts Summer exhibition. Some of our favourite stars glam'd up again for the event including Alexa Chung, Agyness Deyn, Jaime Winstone and Amber Le Bon. Find out who wore what here.

After arriving looking befittingly glamorous, the stars certainly had a good time during this year's Glamour Women Of The Year awards in London, and then left looking perhaps a little less glam! Although nobody had to be carried out like Lily Allen did last year, Alan Carr, James Corden and Alexa Chung were among those looking wide eyed as they left the venue. James and Jack Black teamed up during the ceremony to perform a version of Kanye West's "Gold Digger" — check out a snippet of their performance under the cut — while Amanda Seyfried was apparently pleasantly surprised by her man Dominic Cooper's appearance at the event.

Loads of stars got dressed up to attend the Glamour Women Of The Year Awards at Berkeley Square Gardens last night. Kylie Minogue continued the celebratory mood since her birthday last week by picking up the big award of the night, Woman of the Year, as well as the Entrepreneur gong. British favourites Alexa Chung and Fearne Cotton won the Presenter and Radio Personality awards respectively, and Katy Perry was named Newcomer of the Year.

In celebration of its new NY headquarters, Burberry lit the cityscape with bright lights and a fashionable soiree filled with bubbly and a guest list PR people would kill for. There were a ton of looks to choose from, but I narrowed it down to five. Lily Donaldson showed off her stems in a white chiffon minidress; Alexa Chung styled her printed sheath with a belt and blazer; Leigh Lezark looked sexy stealth in a ruched eggplant frock and sharp heels; Claire Danes accessorized her gray dress with bold adornments; and Blake Lively looked cunning in a loose blazer and mini.

Burberry are doing such a good job of flying the flag for Blighty in the US that they literally lit up the New York skyline last night. The cities Mayor dedicated the whole day to the brand as a thank you for their contribution to retail and they had a party at the new Madison Avenue HQ to celebrate. The party is just a few days after Burberry announced its move to London Fashion Week.

Alexa Chung is settling into her new home city of New York at the moment, and at the weekend she attended a Mulberry book launch party in the city. In her newspaper column last week she talked about the 23rd floor office she's been given by MTV, her new favourite New York night spots — where she occasionally encourages others to limbo — and the fact her friend Tennessee Thomas is leaving the city next week and she's going to have to get a TV to keep herself entertained. I'm sure she'll have plenty of invites pouring in, although perhaps — as her new TV show is starting in a month — she should catch up with some American programmes!

She's cute as a button, she's quirky, she's British, but can she re-interest you in MTV? I for one haven't watched the supposed channel about music in years — OK, except for the occasional The Hills or The City episode. Aside from those guilty pleasures, I can't remember the last time I actually saw a music video or non-cheesy exploitive show.

We already know that Alexa Chung is to move to New York to build a career in the States, but now we have a few more details on exactly what she's heading over there to do!
Alexa will have her own live daytime show on MTV — airing at midday on weekdays from June 15 — which will apparently follow in the footsteps of TRL. That show ended in November 2008 after running for ten years, filmed live in Times Square.
