Things to Look Forward to in 2010
There are only a few days of 2009 left and whilst this is a time to reflect on the past twelve months, it's also time to look to the future and to see what 2010 has to offer. There are so many great collaborations launching in the early part of the year and many things to see and do. Click through to see some of the things I'm looking forward to in 2010.
Biggest Headline of 2009: London Fashion Week's 25th Anniversary
One of the biggest stories in British fashion in 2009 was London celebrating 25 years as a fashion capital. The week has faced a lot of pressure in recent years as it lost some its biggest names and New York threatened to overlap with it. Fortunately, some of the biggest names in the industry, like Erin O'Connor and Naomi Campbell, came together with Sarah Brown and Boris Johnson to help rescue it.
Fab Face: Lily Donaldson
Lily Donaldson was a key fixtures on the catwalks in New York, London, Paris and Milan. The British model strutted her stuff at some of the biggest shows of the season including Valentino, Burberry, and Lanvin. The variation in design houses that she represented shows off her versatility as a model and confirms her place as one of the world's top models.

The Spring 2010 Twenty8Twelve Fashion show was so much fun. Not only were the clothes amazing, but I was able to speak to Alexa Chung about her beauty secrets right after she and FabSugar UK talked fashion. And as if that's not enough, we also got to see Anna Wintour in the front row!
Fab Con: Leigh Lezark
Leigh Lezark has earned herself a lot of designer brownie points over the past month or show as she has attended many fashion shows across the globe. She started off in her home city of New York as she was spotted front row at Max Azria, Preen, and Herve Leger to name a few. She went on to London where she partied at Mulberry, and Matthew Williamson before heading to Paris for John Galliano, Chanel and Miu Miu.
Spring 2010 Trend Alert: Socks and Shoes
Paris Fashion Week came to a close on Thursday, and some key trends have already begun to emerge from the fashionable cities. In New York, London and Milan I noticed a lot of the catwalk looks were styled with socks and shoes. We have seen this style begin to emerge over the Summer when both Fearne Cotton and Chloe Sevigny rocked socks and sandals.

Paul Costelloe has been opening London Fashion Week for six seasons and Spring 2010 was no exception. He began proceedings with an architectural inspired collection with futuristic shapes. After the show, BellaSugar UK and I went backstage to catch up with the man himself where it was a very family affair!
Fab Face: Abbey Lee Kershaw
There have been plenty of fabulous faces gracing the catwalks in New York, London and Milan over the past month, but a couple of girls have particularly stood out. Australian born Abbey Lee Kershaw has been an integral part of presentations for some of the biggest names in the industry including Ralph Lauren, Burberry Prorsum and Gucci. I wonder if she is taking Jourdan Dunn's runway place whilst she is tied up with other things!
