The new series of The Hills continued last night as Brody celebrated his 26th birthday (it always seems to be somebody's birthday!) with a surprise party. Tensions rose between Jayde and Kristin as Brody's Mother picked a side. Meanwhile, Justin played up to his bad boy image by standing up Kristin (much to Stephanie and Audrina's amusement).
The Hills Style Quiz, Episode 2 "Mess With Me, I Mess With You"
The new explosive series of The Hills continued last night on MTV as Kristin's relationship with Justin Bobby evolved. She offered an olive branch to Audrina, asking her to a girly lunch, but Audrina wasn't interested. Meanwhile, Spencer and Heidi continued to struggle to play happy husband and wife as he shows great resistance to wanting children – even throwing a poor innocent boy out of their home!

The Hills returned to our screens last night as the fifth series kicked off with a lot of drama. Lauren Conrad decided to leave the programme at the end of the last season, and now Kristin Cavallari is here to mix things up! The gang all meet up as Heidi and Spencer celebrate their own return from honeymoon.

The MTV Movie Awards took place last night celebrating some of the biggest names on the silver screen. My girls Bella US and Fab US brought you all of the red carpet looks and I spotted many familiar faces from The Hills. Heidi Montag was not present, but her sister Holly was there alongside Lauren, Audrina, Lo and Stephanie.

Relationships were shaken up in this weeks episode of The Hills. Firstly, Heidi and Spencer continued to battle to save their relationship as Heidi finally convinced him that they needed therapy. Unsurprisingly, Spencer doesn't exactly take it seriously and the counsellor correctly states that it all sounds "high school-ish".

This week's episode of The Hills focused on Heidi and Spencer's relationship as Heidi returned to Los Angeles. Stephanie tried to help resolve matters, but ended up getting in to a slinging match with bartender Stacie. Meanwhile, Lauren managed to get Stephanie an interview at Peoples Revolution, which turned out to be a bit of a nightmare.

Series five of The Hills continued last night as Lauren dealt with the aftermath of her birthday party. Heidi too was dealing with an aftermath as Spencer tried to wriggle out of his reported flirting. She decided to take a break and visit her family in Colorado as her Mother shamelessly set her up with an old fling!

If I was Lauren Conrad, I would be very nervous about any form of surprise (particularly a surprise party) as drama seems to follow her around. This weekend saw the beginning of the fifth (and final for Lauren) series of The Hills and it kicked off with a few fireworks. Lo and Audrina planned a birthday celebration for Lauren on a boat (note: no escape route) and everything didn't quite run as smoothly as planned when an unexpected guest arrived.

The Hills star, Audrina Patridge is revamping both her career and her hair colour. Rumours about her spinning off into her own show (just like Whitney Port did) have been confirmed and perhaps this is what sparked her idea to hit the salon. In the past few months, we've seen her hair go from a dark, almost black to a rich and warm auburn-red.
