How To: Bargain Beauty Grunge Goth
Grunge goth beauty was never supposed to be about the money, so what's with this season's Glam Goth makeup looks (not to mention clothes, thanks Luella) costing so much? I'm not one for scrimping and saving on makeup, but as we are sliding into a recession it makes sense to worry our pretty little heads about prices, every now and then.
Cue my credit crunch-friendly pick of the best products to get autumn/winter's soft goth look, on the cheap.
Trend Alert: Metallic Nails
On the Autumn/Winter runways at Chanel, Galliano, Prada, and Dior, the mood was all about dark, soft goth appeal and gutsy, edgy glamour.
Nails were darkly metallic, in shades of burnished bronze, glossy crimson, steely silver and shimmering black. After summer's love affair with bright lights, bold colour varnishes – such as canary yellow or bright orange – autumn's mood is more grown-up.
Guyliner, Manscara...The Boys Are Back in Town
Boys in bands and indie men have been stealing our black eyeliners and smudgy kohl pencils for a while now – whether they're heading to a festival or just hanging out in Camden. The voice of middle England, aka The Telegraph, may be expressing subdued shock at the new 'guy-liner, man-scara' trend, but edgy London boys have been rocking the makeup look for the past few seasons.

A pink-clad Jordan played on notions of her dual identity at the launch of her new electrical haircare range at Superdrug in London. To demonstrate both of the products (a straightening iron and a curling tong), she styled her hair super sleek on one side and curly on the other. Last night at the Dorchester Hotel in London, celebrities and beauty business fixtures gathered for the 17th Annual Fragrance Foundation UK Awards (better known as "The Fifi's"). The profits from the event were donated to the Teenage Cancer Trust, and in the past few years alone, The Fifi's have raised over £100,000 for the charity.

I'm pretty picky when it comes to mascara, as I hate when it flakes, clumps and most importantly when it's too stubborn to come off.
