Best of the Decade: The Top Ten Cult Beauty Products
The time has come for me to unveil the most popular beauty products of the past ten years. After much brainstorming and research, I'm proud to announce this fun list of coveted "it" items that had the beauty world buzzing throughout the decade. Some are my personal favourites that I still use today, whilst others turned out to be more of a passing phase than anything else.

Take inspiration from the Jean Paul Gaultier Spring/Summer show, where small sections of hair were tightly plaited for a modern-day, pirate look.
This is a great look for the beach, when hair is likely to already have more texture than usual.
Think deluxe hippy, and combine the plaited sections, with matte – yet healthy looking – hair.

For unstructured, wavy hair, you don't have to bother with a myriad of curling products and heat appliances. This is a trick lots of models use when they want to give their hair a break from over-styling and just go natural.
If you have very straight, thin hair then you'll need to use a curl-enhancing product.

On Monday morning at the fourth annual Cosmetic Executive Women (CEW) Beauty Awards in London, the 27 winners were finally announced! The votes were cast by over 400 CEW UK members and 301products were entered this year. Boots was the sponsor and Harrods is going to showcase the winning items on 26th April to 1st May for all to see.
