It is pleasing to note that Vivienne Westwood's Red Label show now seems to be a permanent fixture of London Fashion Week. After her Berlin clubland-inspired Anglomania collection at Berlin Fashion Week this summer, Westwood's Red Label girl has taken on a more sophisticated approach for Spring/Summer 2009. With a front row that included Kate Moss, Dita von Teese, Daisy Lowe and rather bizarrely, Pamela Anderson, this was one of the most hotly anticipated shows of the week.

When celebrities are not on duty, they can be spotted looking stylish in a pair of jeans. Some celebrities, including Kristen Stewart, even wear jeans on the red carpet for a rock chick look. The secret to looking good in denim is choosing the right label and JBrand seems to be the most popular choice in recent months.

As expected, the Betty Jackson Fashion Show knew how to appeal to the masses. There was a mix of flowy and tailored pieces in an array of burnt browns, yellows and grays perfect for Autumn. The makeup was classical, with a dark-lined eye, structured cheek and a red lip, however, the colour was applied to the center of the mouth only giving it a modern twist.

This week saw the return of British label Temperley London to London Fashion Week. To mark the occasion I decided to take a trip down to their newly painted London store in Notting Hill to see what we might expect from the label for Autumn/Winter. Mischa Barton has already shown her allegiance to the brand wearing one of their pieces to the Temperley show and another to the Fashion for Relief show where she wore the long carousel dress (£890).

I'm starting to get a little carried away with all the gorgeous beauty goodies that are hitting the shops for Christmas. Despite the threat of the credit crunch, beauty companies are still going all out in producing luxurious gifts and pretty sets that are sure to wing their way to the top of your wish list. If you have a very rich boyfriend, or your family are totally stumped for what to buy you and are happy to club together to get you a gift; then ask for Darphin's Rock & Glam clutch (£350).

Luxe denim label, Rock & Republic, is bringing some of it's hard-edged cool to the cosmetics world, with a new range of makeup that launches this September.
The rock and roll jeans brand, which is worn by celebrities, including Nicole Richie, Eva Longoria, Rihanna and Sienna Miller, is known for it's slim-cut and sexy, LA styling.
The firm's chief executive officer and creative director Michael Ball, along with president Andréa Bernholtz, told WWD that it's about time the brand got a makeup line of its own.

Vivienne Westwood's infamous return to London Fashion Week, earlier this year, meant the show for her Red Label autumn/winter collection was one of the season's hottest tickets.
Her Anglomania collection, which showed in Berlin at the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week, yesterday, was as fanciful and incredible as you'd expect from our grande dame of British fashion.
As ever, Vivienne incorporated Punk elements into the collection – clashing badges and pins on t-shirts that read 'Berlin', with a froth of frills, bow-clad shoes and finger-in-the-socket, wild hair.
