The Queen continued her very busy week yesterday with a day out at Royal Ascot. She was joined by fellow Royals Princess Beatrice, Camilla Parker Bowles and Sophie Rhys-Jones along with Amanda Holden and Katherine Jenkins all of whom were showing off some impressive headwear. From Amanda's burlesque style red hat to the Queen's more traditional style, there was plenty to chose from.

I have spotted so many hats at London Fashion Week that I can't help to think they're the next big thing. Of course the Queen has always been a big fan of headwear and began her own trend yesterday at the unveiling of a new statue of the Queen Mother. All the other women in attendance followed suit with jaunty angled hats, from Sarah Brown's beret to Princess Eugenie's bow adorned head piece.

Naturally fresh faced Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie are looking relaxed and happy, as they holiday with their mother, Sarah Ferguson, in Spain, this week.
Beatrice (left) was working a pared down makeup look, with barely-there blusher and her auburn waves left natural, while Eugenie (right) had slightly more of a glam edge, with expertly kohl-rimmed eyes and bright pink nail varnish.

Royal Ascot kicked off yesterday as the Royal Family headed to Ascot for a day of fun and racing. My favourite member of the Royal family, Princess Beatrice, was there keeping up her support for headwear. In tow was her younger sister upcoming party royal Princess Eugenie who opted for a similar style of headwear but in purple.

Here at FabSugar UK we have long been shouting about the style credentials of Princess Beatrice. The fifth in line to the throne has been raising the stakes at Mahiki (pictured here leaving Mahiki last night with a YSL Tribute bag) and impressing us with her work experience stint at Selfridges. Now it seems that Roberto Cavalli has caught on to her passion for fashion and is said to be considering her as his muse.

Princess Beatrice channeled SJP at her cousins wedding this weekend wearing a great bright coloured fascinator. She teamed it with an Alexander McQueen dress which we've now managed to track down! The silk dress is part of McQueen's summer line but it will set you back £1,085.

I realise that when you first look at these two photos you'll think that this is too much of a long shot to suggest such a thing but stick with me! On Saturday Princess Beatrice attended the wedding of Peter Phillips and Autumn Kelly in this amazing bright coloured dress by Alexander McQueen with matching butterfly fascinator. Last week, Sarah Jessica Parker also wore a rather extravagant fascinator which too featured butterflies with a dress by Alexander McQueen!

Ok, I admit it, I'm really starting to like Princess Beatrice and her pretty Summer dress style! I can't help it. She is a member of the Royal family yet I often see her looking great in High Street pieces.
