Instead I can take the Miu Miu luxe sportswear approach and focus on what the athletes are wearing! I'm know you're more excited for the 2008 Style Olympics than the actual Olympics so here are todays contenders. There has been a fair amount of rowing in the past few days so today's contenders are Sweden's Frida Svensson and China's Zhang Xiuyun. Whilst Frida opts for a boho style blue headscarf, Zhang has gone for a classic baseball cap and sunglasses.

The 2008 Style Olympics continue as we take a look at the gymnasts' attire. This is pretty much my favourite Olympic event as I'm always pretty impressed by the girls' talent. However, for this poll we're just judging on their choice of leotard!

The 2008 Beijing Olympics kicked off on Friday with an amazing opening ceremony. Most of the athletes taking part in the games paraded around the birds nest stadium showing off their smart uniforms. Team USA had their uniform designed by Ralph Lauren and it even included newsboy hats.

The Olympics may well be over for another year but the moment of glory is definitely not over for Olympic champion and shoe obsessive Rebecca Adlington! The British swimmer, who took home two gold medals from Beijing, returned home to Mansfield this week only to be presented with a gold pair of Jimmy Choo heels! Ahh, a girl after my own heart!

We all know the Brazilians love a bikini wax, but it turns out that's not all. According to reports this week, the country is the world's biggest market for hair dye and is rapidly becoming the global leader for fragrances. Brazil's fragrance market share increased 13 percent in 2009 and it's rapidly becoming the world leader.

It's Day four of the 2008 Style Olympics and today we are judging the outfits of the beach volleyball teams. Obviously they wear quite skimpy outfits so there isn't much fabric to judge on but which do you prefer, Norway or Brazil?

This Summer the ‘80s trend is hitting the beach as one shoulder tops get a swimwear makeover, as the one piece swimsuit. If you’re not comfortable with revealing your stomach then a one piece is a great alternative. In recent years designers have begun to realise that not all women want to be exposed in a triangle bikini so have upped their game with swimsuits.

Zara Phillips is working very hard to break out of her Royal mould. The grandaughter of the Queen already has an Olympic appearance under her belt, and is now the face of sportswear brand Musto for their latest Spring campaign. The World Eventing Champion is happy to be working with on this campaign.

Stella McCartney presented her line for Adidas yesterday as part of London Fashion Week at the Royal Horticultural Halls. This show has become increasingly like a performance each season and Spring 2009 was no exception as Stella used olympic athletes to show the wearability of her clothes. What better way to prove the function of her sportswear than to test it?
