Celebrity skin doctor, Dr Brandt has been credited with kick-starting the latest trend in facial cosmetic surgery. Created through a series of skin-plumping fillers, injectables and botox, as oppose to the traditional, skin-tightening face lift, it's been dubbed The New New Face.
The Observer Woman suggests that all the teenage celebrities that are suddenly red carpet material, may go someway to explain this new aesthetic.

While I think it's important to keep an open mind about cosmetic surgery – as far as I'm concerned it's a personal decision that everyone has to make for themselves – I was however, both intrigued and somewhat concerned to hear about the latest trend in facial surgery. Apparently women don't want that taunt, stretched-out, shrink-wrapped look that was so in vogue ten years ago (think how Cher's face looks; super-tight skin, plumped lips and a skinny nose). Instead they want what surgeon Dr.

New from Fresh is a lightweight Soy Face Cream (£28) which can be used separately or in conjunction with their famous Soy Face Cleanser. I was surprised to learn that Fresh was the first company to use soy in their products, but from what I've seen so far, I wish more brands would catch on! I tell everyone who will listen about the face wash because it's the only thing that gets my mascara off without stripping my skin or having to even slightly pull on my eyes.

It's always ahead of the curve in terms of the latest beauty innovations, too.

There have been plenty of fabulous faces gracing the catwalks in New York, London and Milan over the past month, but a couple of girls have particularly stood out. Australian born Abbey Lee Kershaw has been an integral part of presentations for some of the biggest names in the industry including Ralph Lauren, Burberry Prorsum and Gucci. I wonder if she is taking Jourdan Dunn's runway place whilst she is tied up with other things!

A few of weeks ago, I got to meet the great hairdresser to the stars, Charles Worthington face to face as he (as his mega-brand) were the official hair partners for the 2010 Orange BAFTA Awards. Not only was he kind and handsome, but he was also incredibly interesting.
Whilst he set out in school to become an architect, he was slowly swayed into the glamorous world of hairdressing where he describes the parallels between the two industries as, "balancing hair with faces to create just the right structure."

New from Soap & Glory is a sweet scented, gentle face scrub called The Greatest Scrub of All (£7.82) What makes it so cool is that it not only slews away all of the dry, grey and dead winter skin cells from your face and neck, but it also contains salicylic acid to control sebum, cleanse pores and fight new spots from ever forming.
All you need is a five pence-sized amount to do the trick. However, depending on your skin type, you get to be the judge of how often you use it and how hard you want to rub the silicami spherical beads into your damp skin.
