Brit designer Christopher Kane – who is bringing us the oversize sequin trend this Autumn/Winter – is also upping his ethical kudos. He's going green, in a collaboration with Teavigo – a cult, green tea company.
Green tea is a fantastic beauty and health remedy – it's great for the digestive system, and makes your skin look clearer and brighter.

Beauty bloggers have been on overdrive about Wei Young’s new upscale beauty collaboration with Space NK for some time, so I was excited to see the final product range called Wei Beauty, hit the shelves this month, which is sold exclusively at Space NK shops.
Wei Young is known for her cult beauty brand Wei East that incorporates Chinese herbology and eastern medicine into skincare. Her story is quite impressive.

Just like our bodies need oxygen to be healthy, our skin does too. Enter Michelle Peck, facialist to Madonna, Gwyneth Paltrow, Jennifer Lopez and Molly Sims (just to drop a few names). She started off as a masseuse, however, her career really began to take off when she connected with skincare brand Intraceuticals and began putting her own healing touch on their oxygen treatment called Intraceuticals Infusion.

New from Fresh is a lightweight Soy Face Cream (£28) which can be used separately or in conjunction with their famous Soy Face Cleanser. I was surprised to learn that Fresh was the first company to use soy in their products, but from what I've seen so far, I wish more brands would catch on! I tell everyone who will listen about the face wash because it's the only thing that gets my mascara off without stripping my skin or having to even slightly pull on my eyes.

If you ever have any friends visiting from across the pond you'll know how important Topshop is. The Oxford Circus store has become as much of a tourist must-see as Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament or Buckingham Palace. So it's not surprising that nothing brings two nations closer together than a gift from the fashion giant.

I'm a big fan of pomegranate juice. Ever since scientists told us that this red fruit has amazing antioxidant powers, I've been trying to have at least a few glasses a week. Pomegranate is also fantastic at fighting free radicals, which can accelerate the signs of ageing on the skin.

Despite being nagged to, most of us still don't wear sunscreen on a daily basis in the city. Just because you're not actually sunbathing doesn't mean that you aren't at risk from harmful UVA and UVB rays. As a former sunshine addict, I have to remind myself that the sun is the primary cause of wrinkles and other signs of ageing, such as dark under-eye circles and a general lack of radiance.
