Stella McCartney's first ever childrenswear collection landed in Gap stores across the globe earlier this month and has already been so successful that they've snapped her up for another.
The British designer who had previously had a sell-out womenswear collaboration with H&M, created on trend yet practical items for kids which adults wanted for themselves. The best selling item from the line was a military jacket for boys.

At the beginning of the Summer, Stella McCartney revealed plans to launch a childrenswear line with Gap. This is the first time the British designer has created clothes for children and I couldn't wait to see what she created. Well, the wait is finally up as images from the ad campaign has just been unveiled.

Start saving your pennies ladies as this September not one, but two pop-up stores are arriving in the capital. First up, is Gap's touring pop-up store which will be based at Kingly Court (just off Carnaby Street).
You might wonder why we need a Pop-up version of the High Street giant, but this one off boutique will offer many limited edition pieces from collaborations with Pierre Hardy and will also house an exhibition of Garance Dore's work.

Earlier this year I revealed that Gap was finally going online as ASOS snapped up the brand as part of their Autumn line up. This weekend the brand finally went online offering you pieces from Gap's Autumn collection without even leaving the comfort of your home.
There are lots of great pieces on offer including this shrunken blazer (pictured, £45), nautical striped tee (£10) and a long wrap cardigan (£35).

Stella McCartney was one of the first designers to collaborate with the High Street when she launched her H&M line in 2005. Now the designer is doing it again as she prepares to create her first ever childrenswear collection for Gap. She usually only produces womenswear for her label, but with a growing brood of her own (she has three children with husband Alasdhair Willis) it's not surprising that she's decided to broaden her horizons.

Right now Gap is one of the few High Street stores which is not available to UK shoppers online. They have an extensive transactional site for US customers and soon British consumers will have access to pieces too. They have just inked a deal with Asos.com who will offer Gap's Autumn collection with pieces from the mens and childrenswear line as well as womenswear, and there are plans to add items from the Christmas range.

Every city I go to seems to have a Zara. Whether in the UK, Europe or even across the pond in America you're never far from the Spanish retailer.
Hardly surprising then that it has just been announced that in the last few months they have overtaken Gap to become the world's biggest fashion retailer.

Avid readers of Fab US will already be aware of this High Street/Designer collaboration which they previewed last month. Today the long awaited pieces by 3.1 Phillip Lim, Band of Outsiders, Michael Bastian, and Threeasfour hit the stores in the US but here in the UK we'll have to wait one extra day!
The line includes variations on the classic white button down shirt which you can view on the website right now.
