This week details have been revealed about how much celebrities get paid to sit in the front row at fashion shows. Amongst those discussed are A listers Beyonce Knowles (who gets $80,000-$100,000), Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen ($80,000 each) and Chloe Sevigny ($60,000 or more). However, it seems the top dog is Rihanna who gets a staggering $100,000 or more to sit pretty.

Last night the V&A's beautiful Raphael gallery played host to the 2010 London College of Fashion MA show. 19 young graduates presented two years of hard work with their individual designs. There was a bit of celebrity support for the show including Jo Wood, Jodie Harsh (with amazing candy floss hair), Paloma Faith and Amber Le Bon who told me it was "exciting to see what we can expect in the next few years from British fashion".

Nudes have been a big trend throughout the Summer with many celebrities stepping out in the neutral shade. It looks set to continue through to the Spring as many of the major design houses featured the shade on the catwalk last month. From Chanel to Burberry to Valentino, the muted tone was used in a variety of different ways.

Butler and Wilson celebrated it's 40th anniversary last night with a star studded catwalk show. It turned it to a bit of a family affair with Yasmin and Amber Le Bon taking to the catwalk alongside Alice Dellal who received support from her Mother Andrea. Amber was tweeting from the event where the models played table football before the show!

It's been over a year since it was announced that Phoebe Philo would join Celine following a break from the industry. The ex-Chloe designer presented her first catwalk collection yesterday (although she did present a cruise line in June) as part of Paris Fashion Week. She stuck to a relatively neutral palette with whites and camel mixed in with black leather items. Items were kept simple as Philo took the design house back to basics with a very chic feel.

Emanuel Ungaro made a surprising decision in early September as they announced that Lindsay Lohan would be the new artistic adviser. She would work alongside chief designer Estrella Archs and they have been busy ever since putting the Spring collection together. The move was aimed at reviving the label and creating a younger vibe at the French fashion house, and they certainly achieved that.

The fashion pack traveled to Paris yesterday as attention shifted from Milan to the home of couture. Gareth Pugh was one of the biggest names on the first day as he presented for the third time in the French capital. When you think of Spring, you probably imagine pastel shades and floral prints.

Last week at London Fashion Week, I was milling around backstage with BellaSugar UK who was getting the scoop on the hair looks for the William Tempest show when I bumped in to the man himself. I grabbed him for a quick chat about his latest collection and was pleasantly surprised to find him acting calm and looking very together.
The young designer missed out on Fashion Fringe in 2008, but did manage to bag himself a Vauxhall Fashion Scout sponsorship ensuring him a place on the schedule for three seasons.

Erdem Moralioglu is one of London's hottest names to watch right now, which is why Anna Wintour was sat front row at his Spring 2010 show. He created a line of bright coloured floral print frocks with 3D images. There were capped sleeves, ruffled tiers and lace detailing adding to the pieces.

There has been a lot of criticism recently surrounding the lack of ethnic diversity in the fashion industry. Italian Vogue attempted to make a difference with it's now famous black issue for July 2008 and now PPQ have made their own space in history with a catwalk show that only used black models. Sessilee Lopez (who took part in the Vogue Italia issue) was just one of the faces to model the Nubian inspired collection.
