Before we fully embrace 2009 lets take a quick look back at the Best of 2008. You were voting throughout December for your favourites from the world of fashion and here are all of the final results. What do you think?

Best of 2008: International Style Icon
Earlier in the week we awarded Kate Moss the Best British style icon with Alexa Chung taking up best newcomer but today it's a joint award for Best International Style Icon. You voted but were torn between Gossip Girl Blake Lively and actress Kate Bosworth. Blake Lively's style in the TV show is based on Kate Moss creating a very British look.
Best of 2008: The Gorgeous Gals of Gossip Girl
Talk about a landslide — an overwhelming 68% of you voted Gossip Girl the most beautiful television stars of 2008 and I couldn't agree more! From Serena's long blond hair and metallic eye shadows, to Blair's collection of alice bands and pink lip glosses, Jenny's trendy fringe and Vanessa's alternative style, these ladies know how to play up their hair and makeup to perfection. So what if London doesn't have an Upper East side, their chic and impeccable beauty totally translates across the Atlantic.

Throughout the festive season Bella UK and I have been asking you to vote on the Best of 2008. Now that the year is coming to a close we've been delivering the results of your votes and the winners of the Sugar awards! Today I'm reporting back on the winner of the Most Stylish Brit throughout the year and you have voted Kate Moss as your most stylish.
Best of 2008: On Trend Item
The Christmas season is a great time to clear out your wardrobe but which trend items of 2008 will you carry through to 2009? I asked you which on trend item was your favourite this year and you voted for the plaid shirt. Worn by the likes of Lauren Conrad and Kimberly Stewart the shirt looks great with jeans for a casual daytime look.
Dior Mascara Is Certainly Iconic
The results are in and out 290 votes, 30% of you gave a thumbs up to Diorshow Iconic for best mascara of 2008. 23% of you voted for Sexy Curves by Rimmel, and 14% of you chose Benefit's BADgal Plum as your absolute favourite (I love how coloured mascara put up such a good fight)!
While I agree that Dior makes a fabulous product that lengthens, volumizes, adds shine and va-va-voom to your lashes, it also creates the exact opposite effect than what I strive for.
Biggest Headlines of 2008: Fringe
If ever there was a year when fringe came back in style with a vengeance, it's 2008. Celebrities ranging from Paris Hilton to Elle Macpherson have been cutting face-framing fringe to modify their typical layers. Fringe is versatile since it can be worn blunt, side-swept or curled under.
Best of 2008: Favourite New Style Icon
2008 has brought us many new style icons and trends. From daughters of rock stars like Daisy Lowe and Pixie Geldof to girlfriends of rock stars like Alexa Chung and Agyness Deyn it seems we can't escape that effortless rock chic look. One girl really stood out for you though as you voted Alexa Chung your new favourite style icon!
Best of 2008: Model of the Year
Agyness may well have lost out to Jourdan Dunn at the British Fashion Awards but it seems she still won you guys over. This year you voted Agyness Deyn your model of the year, just ahead of Lily Donaldson. Agyness has been busy this year fronting 18 campaigns and making her way down 52 catwalks!
