After Manchester's event the Jingle Bell Ball took over London this weekend, with lots of stars taking to the stage at the O2 Arena. Kylie Minogue has been wrapped up warm in New York recently for Festive concerts and the Thanksgiving Day Parade, but she was showing off her legs in a sexy white dress last night. Tell BellaUK which Winter Kylie ponytail you prefer! McFly, JLS, Black Eyed Peas and Nicole Scherzinger were also among the acts that performed at the Capital FM event. Cheryl Cole has had a lot of career success this year on TV and in the charts that has made her profile rise, but she's also had some personal troubles and a scary bout of sickness too.

She began the year with husband Ashley Cole, suffering some embarrassment when he was banned from driving. During her February musical success, Ashley admitted taking naked pictures of himself and after initial solidarity later he and Cheryl separated after another affair emerged. She received support from her "Parachute" video costar Derek Hough.

Cheryl kept busy as Ashley removed his wedding ring, promising a second darker album while promoting in Paris. She was voted FHM's sexiest woman in the world for the second year running and started appearing on more magazine covers. Rumours about the possibility of her close friendship with Black Eyed Peas frontman Will.I.Am turning romantic began to get tongues wagging, and she got glam to perform at the Cannes Film Festival.

The World Cup officially began last night with a concert at the Orlando Stadium. Shakira sang the theme song of the tournament "Waka Waka" during her energetic performance — but which Brit World Cup song do you prefer? Fergie took to the stage along with the rest of the Black Eyed Peas, who kicked off the concert and performed with other stars like K'Naan and Juanes. FabUK wants to know what you think of Fergie's "claw" jewellery! Alicia Keys also sang, covering her baby bump with a chain embellished top. Sadly, the night ended tragically, as Nelson Mandela's thirteen year old great granddaughter was killed in a bus crash after the concert. Nobody else was hurt in the accident, and understandably Nelson will not be attending the opening ceremony of the World Cup.

Cheryl Cole danced with good friend Derek Hough onstage in Birmingham last night as she enjoyed her last night supporting the Black Eyed Peas. It's a busy time for Cheryl as she filed for divorce from Ashley last week. Today her L'Oreal ad escaped being banned, after forty complaints to the Advertising Standards Authority said she achieved her look with hair extensions. She's also juggled appearances at Cannes with her slots supporting BEP, and she reportedly became closer to Will.I.Am during the tour. His mum said he's in love with Cheryl!
