The official fourth day of 2009 Spring New York Fashion Week opened (surprisingly on time) with a show from Twinkle by Wenlan. As the sun continues to shine in the American capital of style, Twinkle presented a gorgeous collection of feminine and playful styles similar to styles seen at Chloe. There was a '50's/'60's feel to the collection which compromised mainly of sun dresses and high waisted tailored shorts with the occasional pair of vintage style trousers.

OK, so bold, bright fruit-punch coloured lipstick isn't groundbreaking for Spring, but it sure was a welcome change from all of the barely made up faces that we saw on the catwalks during New York Spring 2010 Fashion Week. Designers like Jason Wu, Marc Jacobs, Zac Posen, Derek Lam, Rebecca Taylor and more have incorporated colourful lips into the beauty styles at their shows. Take a peek at 13 fun lipstick looks here!

Earlier this month, I told you about the plans for a Sonia Rykiel for H&M show at the Grand Palais in Paris. The venue is regularly used for the Chanel shows and is a huge open space with high ceilings. The Sonia Rykiel for H&M show is set to take place on 1st December (and will be broadcast live here) and looks set to be a magical experience.

I was never a big endorser of body bronzers in year's past, but with the launch of this over-sized, dazzling and just the right amount of sparkly Shimmer Brick For Body from Bobbi Brown (£50), I'm totally addicted.
You apply it with the biggest, fluffiest brush that you can find and go to town on your legs, abs, face, decolletage and shoulders. It gives you a gorgeous tinge of tan, with a generous amount of radiance and no traces of orange or glitter whatsoever.

Plans for Peaches Geldof's collaboration with PPQ were revealed back in March when she wasn't married and Disappear Here was merely a twinkle in her journalistic eye. Now, over six months later details for the release of the collection are finally being revealed.
Speaking to Vogue Peaches explained, "Designing for PPQ has been fun and inspiring.

Last night at the Mobo Awards, English singer, songwriter and dancer, Alesha Dixon walked the red carpet with a voluminous curled coif and glamourous looking makeup.
Her creamy skin glowed with the help of a perky pink-coloured blush and her eyes twinkled like the flash bulbs of the paps, lined with black liner and grayish-silver shadow. I love this nod to Old Hollywood beauty, but her rosy pink lips keep the look modern and fresh.

Cast your mind back to October 2007 when florals were just a twinkle in our fashion eye. Stella McCartney showed her floral inspired collection in Paris in front of an impressively green backdrop featuring 30 plant species. Typically McCartney had her eye on the ethical implications of her show and did not want all the plants to simply be used in a twenty-minute fashion show so donated the plants to disadvantaged residents in Boulogne-Billancourt outside Paris.
