The creative director of Burberry wasn't the only winner as Georgia May Jagger scooped model of the year and plenty of other hard working designer were rewarded for their graft. Now it's time to see who wore what to the fashion oscars.

Step back in time with me to the beginnings of affordable fashion, the time of the miniskirt, Mary Quant and Twiggy. It was the era when the Kings Road and Carnaby Street were swinging, well, almost! This short video below brings together some of the key styles of the 1960s as models dance around in thigh skimming mini skirts and swing coats.

Lesley Hornby, or Twiggy as she is better known, is one of my favourite models of all time. She was one of the key faces of the swinging '60s and continues to appear in ad campaigns today. Imagine how excited I was then to discover that London's National Portrait Gallery are to dedicate an entire exhibit to her, and it's completely free!

Did you know that it is currently official National Model Week? Today I will begin with the swinging 1960s, which is one of my favourite eras of history.

This morning I was lucky enough to be one of the first people to check out the new supersize shopping mall in West London. Westfield London has taken over ten years of planning (and a credit crunch defying £1.7 billion) but it was finally unveiled to the public this morning as it was officially opened by London Mayor Boris Johnson.
A fashion show presenting looks available at the mall starring the gorgeous Erin O'Connor (modeling Marks & Spencer of course) followed the grand opening before Leona Lewis took to the stage.
