Tamara Mellon hosted a party in London last night for the launch of the Jimmy Choo Project PEP. There was plenty of celebrity support at the event with stars like Jameela Jamil, Claudia Winkleman, Diana Jenkins, and Martine McCutcheon. Model Florence Brudenell-Bruce was also there in a bowler hat and lace tights.

It's been a busy week for Tamara Mellon who launched the Jimmy Choo PEP range last night and is soon to launch a collaboration with H&M. She has now added a court appearance to her diary as she takes her own Mother, Ann Yeardye to court. The shoe giant CEO is aiming to claim back £6 million in a Channel Islands courtroom for a breach of contract in the sale of Jimmy Choo to Lion Capital in 2004.
Fashion's Movers and Shakers in the Sunday Times Rich List
Yesterday, The Sunday Times published their annual rich list and it was not without a few fashion faces. Obviously, because of the financial climate it's been a tumultuous year for cash flow, but some of the biggest names in retail have managed to stay high up in the list. Sir Philip Green has made an enormous impact on the High Street, particularly with Topshop which recently launched in New York.

Stella McCartney has once again lent her name to a very worthwhile project. Along with fellow Brit designers Paul Smith and Alexander McQueen as well as Jimmy Choo's Tamara Mellon, the designer has created a printed t-shirt for the 21st Century Leaders Foundation. This organisation raises funds for global causes such as poverty alleviation and environmental conservation.
Bobbi Brown Book Brings Out London's Movers and Shakers
Last night in Mayfair, British socialites and celebrities such as Tamara Mellon of Jimmy Choo, Yasmin Le Bon and her daughter Amber Le Bon (who happens to be the face of the latest River Island campaign), TV actress Angela Griffin, presenter Konnie Huq and Nicky Clarke's fiancée Kelly Hoppen, gathered to celebrate the launch of Bobbi Brown's latest book called Makeup Manual.
The book, which I've actually had for several weeks now, contains a wealth of advice from the 25 year makeup veteran herself. It offers tips and tricks about tools, skin care and application techniques ranging from how to achieve her signature natural look, to TV, theatre and artsy high glamour makeup.
British Fashion Awards 2008
Last night the British Fashion Awards took place in London. Luella Bartley was the big winner as she was awarded British designer of the year but Jourdan Dunn also had a good night taking home model of the year.
