Kylie Minogue sang "Santa Baby" at the 2010 Rockefeller Center tree lighting in NYC last night. She wrapped up warm for the Festive occasion with cocktail rings over her gloves and a big furry jacket. Jessica Simpson also performed at the event, and the singers both also performed on floats last week at the Thanksgiving Day Parade alongside Kanye West. The American Music Awards was jam-packed with flashy performances after a daring red carpet for the women and leather loving guys. Rihanna opened the night sporting a bikini-ensemble for her three-song medley. Her good friend Katy Perry had her own moment in the spotlight wearing a skin-tight red bodysuit after ripping off her skirt while pregnant Pink put on a lively show, though the mum-to-be kept the acrobatics to a minimum. Taylor Swift's edgy arrival dress was your favourite, though she changed into an all black skinny pants and blazer ensemble for her dramatic "Back to December/Apologize" mashup. The red carpet at last night's American Music Awards in LA was packed with daring dresses and glammed-up girls. Fergie took a risk in a Falguni & Shane peacock feathered mini, balancing out her embellished shoulders with minimal makeup. Tangled star Mandy Moore also went short and sequined, while Kelly Osbourne opted for a simple strapless number and big hair. Heidi Klum wore something long and black, as did mum-to-be Pink, who glowed ahead of her highly anticipated performance.

The red carpet at the 2010 CMA Awards in Nashville brought together lovely ladies from both the music and acting worlds last night. Cohost Carrie Underwood chose a slate grey Talbot Runhof gown for her arrival while Gwyneth Paltrow went with a sexy, side-baring Atelier Versace dress for her country music debut. Gwyneth's Country Strong costar Leighton Meester mixed things up in Emilio Pucci and Taylor Swift went with a bold red Monique Lhuillier. W cover girl Katherine Heigl, who was there to support her brother-in-law Lady Antebellum lead singer Charles Kelley, showed up in a bright blue strapless Farah Angsana number and was just one of the gorgeous girls with a flawless face.

Carrie opened the show with a musical number alongside Brad Paisley, who was named Entertainer of the Year, before changing into an array of gorgeous looks throughout the night. Nicole Kidman watched from the audience in white Dolce & Gabbana as her husband Keith Urban took the stage while Katherine and Josh Kelley cheered on Lady Antebellum as they accepted two statues. Gwyneth geared up for her big night with a pint of beer, and her much-anticipated live performance didn't disappoint — what did you think? She was game for a little teasing by Carrie and Brad, who asked if she could score them Coldplay tickets, though Chris Martin wasn't there to watch his wife's musical number. Taylor Swift didn't continue her winning streak, but she did take the stage to perform "Back to December" — congrats to everyone honoured during country's big evening!

Taylor Swift straightened her hair and wore a funky dark red dress with a full skirt. Faith Hill looked elegant in her floor sweeping gown, while Carrie Underwood stood out in bright pink — she and Taylor were nominated for three gongs.
