Black pumps will always be a classic, but right now, it's all about white pumps. For proof, just look down at the famous feet of some of our favorite stars, including Kate Hudson, who donned white Christian Louboutin pumps with a pink tee and black leather skirt in New York City. Jessica Alba styled her floral trousers with white patent pumps, while Blake Lively glammed it up in a tweed pair by Bottega Veneta. If the thought of styling white pumps sounds a little scary to you, then see how these celebs styled theirs with an array of gowns, mini-dresses, shorts, and suits. See every head-turning look — and tips on how to incorporate white pumps into your own style — inside the slideshow. Hopefully they'll inspire you to snag a pair too.
Adaptations are all the rage these days, and the upcoming big-screen version of Jonathan Tropper's novel This Is Where I Leave You is one adaptation we're eagerly anticipating, since we loved the book about a dysfunctional family begrudgingly coming together. Shawn Levy is directing, and Jason Bateman is on board to fill the shoes of main character Judd, one of four siblings who assemble to sit shiva when their father dies. If you've read the book, then you'll want to see who's playing who, so check out the casting so far.

Brad Pitt was in NYC last night for a screening of Killing Them Softly. Along with his costars James Gandolfini and Ray Liotta, Brad posed for photos on the red carpet at a special Cinema Society event. A handful of famous ladies came out to see Brad's latest, including Rose Byrne, Maggie Grace, model Anne V, Dexter's Jennifer Carpenter, and The Good Wife's Archie Panjabi. Killing Them Softly arrives in theaters this Friday, Nov. 30, and Brad's done a handful of interviews in the run-up to its release. He spoke to Extra about both his film and his engagement to Angelina Jolie. He said, "I will admit we have had some pressure from our kids. We didn't realize how much it means to them . . . we didn't realize how much it means to us." As for the place and time, Brad commented, "We are both migratory workers and it will be a matter of convenience location wise."
Kristen Bell stepped out to premiere her short film for Target, Falling For You, at Terminal 5 in NYC last night. Kristen had the support of Anna Kendrick on the red carpet, and the pair chatted and laughed their way into the party. Rose Byrne, AnnaSophia Robb, and Nia Long also stepped out for the bash. Kristen stars in the Target movie, which was directed by Mad Men's Phil Abraham, and she actually premiered the piece with the help of fiancé Dax Shepard last week in LA. Anna, meanwhile, is coming off of her own promotional tour for her latest box office hit, Pitch Perfect, which hit the big screen last Friday.
Cosmopolitan magazine played hosted last night for their annual Fun and Fearless Awards at NYC's Mandarin Oriental Hotel. The year's big honorees were Dakota Fanning, in Miu Miu, and Paul Rudd, who earned the female and male titles, respectively. Additional honors went to The Hunger Games hunk Liam Hemsworth, Grey's Anatomy's Jesse Williams, 21 Jump Street's Jonah Hill, a YSL-clad Freida Pinto, NFL star Adrian Peterson, Pretty Little Liars' Lucy Hale, and a Chanel-wearing Rose Byrne. Both Jonah and Liam wore Ermenegildo Zegna.
We caught a moment with Liam on the red carpet, where he opened up about his big Hunger Games press tour. He spoke about the devoted fans of the series he's encountered so far, saying, "We had our first mall event the other day, and there were lots of screaming fans, and a few teary-eyed fans, which was interesting. Very nice and very flattering to see people that passionate about it." Dakota told us she's not familiar with Liam's franchise, but she's excited to see the film. As for a daring thing she's done lately, Dakota said, "Probably starting my Spring semester at college. That was probably the most fearless thing!" Make sure to check back later today for video of our interviews with Liam, Dakota, and the other attendees on PopSugar Rush.
As we've just come off from London Fashion Week, it's quite exciting to see so many British designers have their dresses worn on the red carpet at last night's Oscars. From Rose Byrne donning a sequin, backless Vivienne Westwood gown, to Amy Adams also in a chic, silver Vivienne Westwood cocktail frock, Mischa Barton in Temperley, Jessica Chastain in Alexander McQueen and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley in Antonio Berardi, I'm very excited for these designers to share the spotlight with the beautiful actresses they have dressed. Take a look through my slideshow and let me know which dress created by a talented British designer you like best!
Brunette celebrities like Rose Byrne, Leighton Meester, and Olivia Wilde are setting trends with their new hairstyles. Heavy, blunt-cut fringe in the front with long and straight hair on the sides is making its way back to the red carpet from the 1960s. This Jane Birkin look is simple enough to achieve, and any stylist could cut this type of fringe if you bring in a photo, but don't kid yourself into thinking this look is low maintenance. To rock perfectly smooth fringe you'll need to put in a few extra minutes in front of the mirror using handy tools like styling spray, a blow dryer, and a round brush. Also, plan on carving out some extra time for fringe touch-ups every two weeks at the salon. Would you ever cut heavy fringe?
Rose Byrne looked impeccably chic last night for an appearance on The Late Show With David Letterman, donning a sexy Dolce and Gabbana leopard print dress and Sergio Rossi pumps. We love the deep green hue of the leopard print, and her decision to belt the dress was spot on as it highlighted her curves and added a touch of ladylike polish. We found her exact look for those who covet her designer style, but if you're looking to get the look at a lower price, we've got you covered.

Rose Byrne recently hosted a sunset reception to celebrate Zimmermann's 2012 resort collection, and managed to look effortlessly gorgeous despite the balmy LA weather. "It was an outdoor event and it seemed right to go with a fun lip color; not too much on the eye, a sun-kissed cheek, and a bright, happy coral lip," said makeup artist Fiona Stiles, who created the look. So to see the products Stiles used, along with her tips on how to copy Rose's nonfussy, sweat-proof palette, just keep reading.
Crochet can get sold short; for some, it conjures up memories of hippie-chic style icons like Janis Joplin and Stevie Nicks, and for others, it can be a reminder of our Grandma's favorite pastime. Though it may have folksy connotations, crochet doesn't have to be a total blast from the past. Case in point: Rose Byrne — she recently hosted Zimmermann's Resort collection dinner wearing the designers' super sweet knee-length dress with gorgeous crochet detailing at the neck, and an almost patchwork crochet design throughout. You can also glean inspiration from the Alexander McQueen Resort collection, and Spring '11 offerings from Malandrino; both lines infused artful crocheting into their looks, bringing an easy, bohemian sensibility to the sometimes-intimidating fabrication. Just click through to see 10 pretty pieces that might just make you a crochet convert.
