Trend Alert: Classic Red Lips at Paris Fashion Week
When I think of French high fashion, I always imagine a beautiful woman with her hair pulled back wearing a perfectly tailored black outfit and strong red lips with a touch of black eyeliner. This classic Parisian look wasn't far off from what we've been seeing on the runways of of the 2010 Spring Paris Fashion Week Shows this week. I spied this look on the models at Emanuel Ungaro, Christian Dior, Devastee and Vivienne Westwood.
Stylish People Party at the Serpentine
The Serpentine gallery in London's Hyde Park held it's annual Summer party as some of London's most glamorous folk gathered together for a few glasses of champagne! Amongst the party goers were many models including Jacquetta Wheeler, Erin O'Connor and Lily Donaldson along with classic faces Jo Wood and Bianca Jagger. They were joined by designers Matthew Williamson and Patrick Cox amongst others.

As today is about all things Irish I thought I'd celebrate the most stylish lady from the emerald isle: Roisin Murphy! This style maven made her name in fashion last year. She attended all the big shows wearing an enviable wardrobe with pieces by PPQ, Gareth Pugh, and Preen.

Irish pop sensation Roisin Murphy is no stranger to a catwalk show. In September she attended shows at London Fashion Week trying out lots of unusual pieces alongside classic chic ensembles. She even tried Gareth Pugh for size way before Beyonce got in with the British designer.

Last night the British Fashion Awards took place in London. Luella Bartley was the big winner as she was awarded British designer of the year but Jourdan Dunn also had a good night taking home model of the year. Freaky or Fabulous: Roisin Murphy in Gareth Pugh
Guess who didn't leave the Gareth Pugh Spring show empty handed?! Ex-Moloko singer and fashion pioneer Roisin Murphy attended the Christian Dior show yesterday in Paris wearing a design straight off the Pugh catwalk. Murphy is no stranger to Pugh's designs, wearing one on the cover of her single 'Overpowered'.

Roisin Murphy has been busy supporting London Fashion Week this week, she has attended many shows including Luella and Ossie Clark. Roisin is known for being quite an eccentric dresser regularly wearing hats. For the Luella show she wore a hair-sleeve jacket and top hat and at Ossie Clark show she wore a cute sailor chic outfit with a giant gold YSL shopper.
