Coriolanus Trailer: Ralph Fiennes Modernizes Shakespeare

William Shakespeare's Coriolanus is getting quite an update in Ralph Fiennes's action take on the story.

William Shakespeare's Coriolanus is getting quite an update in Ralph Fiennes's action take on the story. Fiennes is making his directorial debut and starring in the title role of the film, based on Shakespeare's war tragedy of a Roman general who is exiled by his people despite his military successes. The angry soldier rises back up (for a time, anyway) thanks to an uneasy alliance with Aufidius (Gerard Butler). Though Fiennes's version of Coriolanus appears to take place in modern time, the characters use Shakespeare's original dialogue.

It all makes for a pretty epic, heart-pounding preview with an intensely intimidating Fiennes at the forefront. I'm a big fan of Shakespeare adaptations that think outside the box, so I'm eager to check this one out. Jessica Chastain, Vanessa Redgrave, and Brian Cox also star. Stars Brave the Rain For the Harry Potter & the Deathly Hallows World Premiere!

Last night I attended the world premiere of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows in a very rainy and windy Leicester Square.

Last night I attended the world premiere of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows in a very rainy and windy Leicester Square. The weather was the last thing on our minds though, because the star-studded event brought out almost all of the cast. Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint posed with JK Rowling, and Emma looked stunning up close in her lacy dress! The X Factor contestants also attended — Matt Cardle and Katie Waissel signed autographs for the many fans, while James and Oliver Phelps aka the Weasley twins did all their interviews together! The whole gang went on to the afterparty together.

Tom Felton walked the red carpet looking tanned, while Kick-Ass star Chloe Moretz told me how excited she was to be at the premiere, and how much she loves British TV! Jamie Campbell-Bower hobbled around the carpet, but he signed lots of autographs for fans despite his injury. Guests included Lisa-Marie Presley, Konnie Huq, Theo Walcott and Tina O'Brien.

Keira Knightley

Pop Preview: The Duchess

Keira Knightley's latest period offering, The Duchess, is finally released at cinemas across the UK today.

Keira Knightley's latest period offering, The Duchess, is finally released at cinemas across the UK today. We've seen the stars at the world premiere and attending radio interviews, and now it's time to see if the film lives up to all the hype. Although the poster carries the famous Diana quote — "there were three people in her marriage" — the film has nothing to do with her (as the cast and director told me when I met them recently) so that aspect of the trailer is for marketing and doesn't reflect the content of the film. As Keira said, the Duchess is a fascinating character in her own right.

Keira plays the part of Georgiana Spencer, who becomes Duchess of Devonshire when she marries the much older Duke (Ralph Fiennes). The Duchess was famous at the end of the eighteenth century for her beauty, fashion sense and appetite for gambling. She became a shrewd political operator and a doting mother, but it is her search for love that forms the heart of this story. The complexities of her relationship with her best friend and husband's mistress, Bess Foster (Hayley Atwell), and her affair with Prime Minister in training Earl Grey (Dominic Cooper), drive the plot as Georgiana faces heartbreaking decisions imposed on her by her powerful husband.
