Sky One has today confirmed that there won't be a fourth series of Project Catwalk. The show was presented by Kelly Osbourne and watched aspiring fashion designers compete for success.
Richard Woolfe, channel controller, hinted at the Edinburgh International TV Festival that the programme might be coming to an end.

You might have noticed an increased amount of fur on the catwalks last month as designers attempt to break fashion's biggest taboo. Well, it seems its appearance might not be as innocent as you think as an investigation by The Times discovered that some designers are being funded by major fur companies. Danish fur giants Saga Fur and Kopenhagen fur are involved in this scheme to encourage use of the animal fabric in catwalk collections in return for thousands of pounds of sponsorship.

Last night Corona Extra hosted a Save the Beach event with a catwalk show by beachwear designer Custo Dalmau of Custo Barcelona and starring Bar Refaeli. I was lucky enough to be invited along to the evening where they truly brought the beach to London. I got a few minutes to catch up with Custo to find out about the inspiration behind his Spring line and his eco concerns.

We have some very exciting shopping news for you Sugar readers. We can today exclusively reveal the details of Alexander McQueen's plans to sell his line directly from the catwalk with Net-a-porter.com.
On Monday 29th September (a week from today) net-a-porter.com will show a McQueen catwalk show which took place in secret earlier this year in Milan (straight after his menswear show) showcasing eight looks to be available exclusively from the e-boutique.

The ICA is currently hosting the Birds Eye View film festival celebrating female film makers. Yesterday, they hosted an evening of short fashion films and held a discussion with a few of the contributors. Fashion on Film has really only started to take off over the past few years which is surprising.
