Whilst spending time with famed hairdresser Charles Worthington, we not only talked about his background, my hair and the 2010 BAFTA Awards, but we also talked about how to keep hair looking its best for a big night out.
Oftentimes, hair is done hours before an event, making it challenging to keep it full and fresh looking. Charles has created amazing red carpet looks for celebrities attending the Oscars, BAFTA's, Brit Awards and many, many other celebrations.

All star makeup artist Rachel Wood really had her hands full backstage at the Ziad Ghanem show on Monday evening. Backstage was buzzing with four different types of makeup looks that included goth (dark lips, pale skin), showgirl (long lashes that were cut from feather boas), K.D. Lang (sexy androgyny) and rocker boy (clean face with smudged eyeliner and big hair).

Emerging designer William Tempest's show was something that I'd been looking forward to all week long. Last season was incredible, and this year was even better (but, I'll leave it to FabSugarUK to fill you in on his amazing clothing later). However, the beauty style is what I wanted to tell you about since the eye shadow creations are swoon worthy too!

Gucci is celebrating it's 90th anniversary next year and to begin marking the occasion, it's launching two new ads which celebrate the brand's heritage. This weekend, as the Autumn show takes place in Milan, Gucci's new black and white ad campaign will appear in newspapers around the world. There are big celebrations planned for the anniversary including the unveiling of a Gucci museum in Florence as well as products stamped with 1921 (the year the company was founded).

The much anticipated David Koma fashion show took place on Friday evening in London. Everyone (including myself) was so excited to see what was going to come next from last season's Merit Award winner. If you don't know his name, I'll bet you're more familiar with his work than you realise, as he's the one that Cheryl Cole wore on an episode of The X Factor, and Beyonce wore one of his dresses to the 2009 MTV Europe Music Awards.

This year marks the tenth anniversary between the Orange BAFTA Awards and Lancôme, and this year, I was lucky enough again to be invited to the Dorchester Hotel where they hosted a suite. Inside, I spoke with lead makeup artist Armand Beasley about his trend forecast for the show, I checked out some of the brand's newest launches, learnt a trick or two about applying false lashes, and got a lesson on how to create perfect brows (but more on that later)!
For now, one of the most exciting products available is a Swarovski encrusted BAFTA cheek palette (£45).

Today marks one week until the highly anticipated BAFTA Awards. I'm not sure about you, but I wait all year long for this big event and look forward to the hair and makeup styles just as much as the clothing, jewels and accessories.
Lauren Luke, the video blogger from South Sheilds who has an astonishing following on You Tube is also a fan of red carpet makeup styles.

With just three days until Valentine's Day, how much thought have you put into your makeup look for the night? I've always been in love with love, and I can't help but fawn over all of the lipsticks, glosses, balms and stains that not only have cute names, but also help keep your kisser hydrated and soft.
I'm especially excited about this great Kiss Me Red salve from Philosophy (£10) because it's not sticky and even though it's red, the colour comes out incredibly sheer.
