2010 Grammy Awards Trend: Long, Dramatic Gowns
The 2010 Grammy Awards took place overnight in Los Angeles celebrating some of the biggest names in American music. The red carpet was packed with stars including Beyonce Knowles, Nicole Kidman, Lady Gaga and Katy Perry. Whilst looking through the red carpet images I noticed a lot of floor sweeping gowns – many with dramatic hemlines.

The MTV Video Music Awards took place last night in New York City bringing together music and TV stars from across the globe. There was plenty of red carpet action with frocks by Herve Leger, Balmain, and Christian Cota. Trend Alert: Black Eyeliner and Pink Lips Abound at the VMAs
Last night at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards in New York City, the most common makeup theme from the ladies on the red carpet was black, heavily lined eyes paired with pink lipstick. The eye style varied from dark and smoky on Kristin Cavallari to clean and winged on Madonna. Lips also came in a wide spectrum of shades ranging from candy floss pink on Solange Knowles to pinky-coral on Katy Perry.

Pink has revealed in an interview with Australian FHM that Kanye was disrespectful at Stella's Autumn show as he sat in the front row beside Pink and PETA senior vice president Dan Mathews.

At last night's 2008 MTV Europe Music Awards the stars showed their love for this season's bright lip trend. Berry shades ranging from dark to subtle reigned supreme. Duffy went for an lingonberry shade to complement her pale skin, while Pink's dark rasberry lipstick looked perfect with her dark eyes.
