Angelina Jolie managed to find a gown to stay warm in, a cream-coloured angora Atelier Versace with a dangerously high slit, for the NYC premiere of The Tourist last night. She accessorised with earrings by Robert Procop, with whom she just announced a new jewellery line collaboration. She had her sexy other half, Brad Pitt, on her arm and costar Johnny Depp just a few feet away on the red carpet. Angelina and Brad arrived in the city over the weekend and wasted no time bringing Knox and Vivienne to pick up art supplies on the latest stop in the family's jet-setting year. Angelina's name is back in headlines, though the controversy is not of her making. Angelina's promotional tour will bring her to The Today Show in the morning while Johnny's stopping by to chat with David Letterman. Johnny and Angelina have shared tons of glowing words about each other during their promotional tour, while also giving fans a peek into their own experiences making the movie. Their first big-screen collaboration hits cinemas on Friday, when we'll see if the A-list team can dominate the box office together.

Jennifer Connelly stars on the cover of InStyle's October issue, looking rather stunning in silver. While she dressed down in a t-shirt, jeans and biker boots for her interview, by the time she was in front of the cameras she was glammed up in head to toe Balenciaga — check out those scarily high wedges! She talked to the magazine about living in New York with her hubby Paul Bettany and their children, and also about her new movie Creation which she costars in with Paul — will you see it or skip it?

  • On Paul: "He is a really good person — he is funny, he's smart and he's kind. He will surrender without vanity or ego to the story, which I really admire."
  • On how their relationship helped their roles in Creation: "Darwin [Paul] and his wife Emma [Jennifer] knew each other since childhood. They were first cousins, so the relationship I have with Paul and our degree of intimacy supported the ease and comfort our characters have with each other."

Us Brits Are Amongst the American People's Choice!

Stars of the big and small screen got glam for the People's Choice Awards in LA last night.

Stars of the big and small screen got glam for the People's Choice Awards in LA last night. Carrie Underwood won three awards, and Paris Hilton and Jewel won me over with their pretty dresses. Nominees announcer Joshua Jackson wasn't in attendance unfortunately, but there were lots of other gorgeous guys to feast our eyes on.

Our very own Christian Bale picked up a couple of gongs thanks to The Dark Knight's huge success. Other British winners included Favourite Male TV Star Hugh Laurie, and Paul Bettany whose film The Secret Life of Bees picked up two gongs, while Gavin Rossdale presented Kate Hudson with her award. My girl Buzz has got the full winners list, Fab and Bella have polls on all the fashion and beauty looks, and BellaUK wants to know whose nude lips do you like the most?

Celebrate Female Solidarity With The Secret Life of Bees

Set in South Caroline in 1964, The Secret Life of Bees is a moving tale about female solidarity in the face of discrimination, based on Sue Monk Kidd's novel.

Set in South Caroline in 1964, The Secret Life of Bees is a moving tale about female solidarity in the face of discrimination, based on Sue Monk Kidd's novel. 14-year-old Lily (Dakota Fanning) is trying to deal with her guilt over her role in her mother's death. When Rosaleen (Jennifer Hudson), Lily's housekeeper, is physically beaten when she tries to vote, the pair run away from Lily's abusive father (Paul Bettany) in search of a safe haven and answers to Lily's questions about her mother.

They follow their only clue, a piece of wood with an image of a black Mary and the name of a town, and find themselves at the pink house of the Boatwright bee-keeping sisters: May (Sophie Okonedo), June (Alicia Keys) and August (Queen Latifah).
