International fashion weeks kick off today as New York places host to Spring 2010 collections. Before the designers even put pen to paper, the colours for each season are carefully chosen and here they are! The Pantone colour palette for Spring 2010 falls in to four categories; Dandy Manifesto, Gold Diggers, Bewitchment, and Techno-folk.

Believe it or not we have now passed the shortest day which means Spring is on the horizon. As poor sales throughout the Autumn have forced stores to bring their sales forward we are sure to see Spring items appearing in stores even earlier than usual. Knowing this, it's time to cast our minds back to September when the Spring 2009 shows took place in New York, London, Paris and Milan.

One of the things I admire about Henry Holland is that his collections always have a theme. He blatantly dedicates an entire range to one central point and runs wild with it. Who can forget the tartan of Autumn '08, the florals of Spring '09 or the pantone colour blocking of Autumn '09?

Glastonbury festival is now over for another year, but this years was not short on celebrity support. Most of you thought Daisy Lowe's outfit was the best from day one so I wonder who you'll prefer out of this selection. Lily Allen and Little Boots both performed on Friday night with Lily taking to the stage in funky wigs whilst Little Boots wore a House of Holland pantone ensemble.

London Fashion Week is over for another season as attention moves to Milan and Paris. There were so many great shows in February including Twenty8Twelve's catwalk debut, and Luella and Vivienne Westwood's rebellious collections. There were also pantone stripes at House of Holland, bright knits at PPQ and gorgeous dresses at Peter Pilotto.

One thing I always admire about Henry Holland's designs is that he goes with a theme and sticks to it. Last season he went with a distinctly '90s theme, for Autumn '08 he went tartan and for Autumn '09 he looked no further than a pantone colour chart! The models were dressed head to toe in varying shades of one colour as texture was injected using a mix of fabrics.
