Biggest Headline of 2009: London Fashion Week's 25th Anniversary
One of the biggest stories in British fashion in 2009 was London celebrating 25 years as a fashion capital. The week has faced a lot of pressure in recent years as it lost some its biggest names and New York threatened to overlap with it. Fortunately, some of the biggest names in the industry, like Erin O'Connor and Naomi Campbell, came together with Sarah Brown and Boris Johnson to help rescue it.
Final Collection for PPQ for Oli
Uber cool London design duo PPQ have been creating a diffusion line for Oli for five seasons, but all good things must come to an end. They have just created their final line for Spring 2010 and designer Amy Molyneaux has modeled the pieces. The items in the collection include cute party dresses, a velvet blazer and their trademark Chanel-esque cardigan.

There has been a lot of criticism recently surrounding the lack of ethnic diversity in the fashion industry. Italian Vogue attempted to make a difference with it's now famous black issue for July 2008 and now PPQ have made their own space in history with a catwalk show that only used black models. Sessilee Lopez (who took part in the Vogue Italia issue) was just one of the faces to model the Nubian inspired collection.

There are few things I like as much as fashion, but chocolate is pretty close. Imagine my excitement then when I found out that cool London duo PPQ had teamed up with Cadbury to offer a funky piece of jewellery with a box of KOKO truffles! Behind the Seams: Selfridges Celebrate 100 Years
The classic department store Selfridges is turning the grand old age of 100 this year and to mark the occasion, there was a party last night at the Oxford Street store. Celebrities, designers and models came together to party, drink champagne and look back over the years.

London Fashion Week A/W 2009: PPQ
Amy Molyneaux and Percy Parker's label PPQ is one of the hot tickets of London Fashion Week. This season it took place at the Burlington Arcade, currently home to their pop-up store. This resulted in arguably the longest, thinnest catwalk in memory where models strutted all the way down in Autumn's most colourful attire.
