This weekend, Wedding Crashers pair Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson will revisit their onscreen friendship for new comedy release The Internship. They're just one of the movies' repeat collaborations (like actors who keep playing couples and the frequent director/star combos), and we love seeing the kind of platonic chemistry between friends who clearly enjoy each other's company once the cameras have stopped rolling. Now — just in time for Best Friends Day this weekend — check out all the stars who keep popping up as friends on the big screen!
Vince and Owen Pull Up to The Internship Premiere in Style
Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson cracked each other up on the red carpet for the premiere of their film The Internship last night in LA. The duo arrived in style, pulling up to the carpet in a Google Maps car, which was an appropriate mode of transportation since the comedy follows the pair as they take on a prestigious internship at Google. Vince and Owen are reuniting again on screen after the success of their collaboration on 2005's Wedding Crashers.
The film's leading lady, Rose Byrne, who donned a stunning pink Emilio Pucci number, linked up with Owen for a laugh on the red carpet as well. The trio were also joined by castmates Jessica Szohr, in a Haute Hippie dress, and Josh Gad for the West Coast debut of the comedy, which hits theaters on June 7. We were there for the fun surrounding The Internship's premiere last night as well, so stay tuned for details from Vince, Owen, Rose, and more!
The Hollywood Reporter Rounds Up Jessica Chastian and Owen Wilson For a Pre-Oscars Bash
The Hollywood Reporter hosted a party at LA's Getty House, the residence of Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, to honor the year's crop of Academy Award nominees last night. The publication's editorial director, Janice Min, presided over a bash that brought out Midnight in Paris stars Owen Wilson and Michael Sheen, though Michael's real-life leading lady, their costar Rachel McAdams, sat things out. Jessica Chastain, who wore Vivienne Westwood, is in the running for a best supporting actress statue for her work in The Help, and she made the rounds with best pal Jessica Weixler. Brooklyn Decker also stepped out to say hello to producers and writers from movies like The Descendants, The Artist, and Moneyball. THR's bash was one of many that went down in Hollywood last night in the run-up to Sunday's Oscars. Don't forget, we'll be LIVE on the Academy Awards red carpet starting at starting at 5:30 p.m. EST/2:30 p.m. PST.
Owen Wilson and Michael Sheen Bring Paris to the West Coast
Midnight in Paris stars Owen Wilson and Michael Sheen brought Woody Allen's latest project to LA last night. The twosome were just off a screening in NYC and their world premiere in Cannes last week. New dad Owen was happy to chat and beamed when talking about his son, Robert, gushing about the infant's latest triumphs. Apparently, the little guy just learned to roll over. While Michael was without the company of his real-life leading lady Rachel McAdams, he did have sweet things to say in her absence. Michael revealed that the whole cast became like a family on location in Paris, and it was especially lovely to meet Rachel, which he described as the "start of a lovely relationship" — stay tuned for more on tomorrow's PopSugar Rush! Woody Allen may consider becoming a matchmaker in his spare time since he has a knack for bringing couples together, like Vicky Christina Barcelona stars Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem. Woody's film goes head-to-head against Penelope's Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides when both films open nationwide this weekend.
Rachel McAdams Wows on the Red Carpet and Michael Sheen's Arm at Cannes
Rachel McAdams changed into a semi-sheer Marchesa gown for the premiere of her new Woody Allen movie during the Cannes Film Festival this evening. She and boyfriend Michael Sheen were also together this morning at the Midnight in Paris photocall, though they seemed to show even more PDA at tonight's event — Michael sweetly helped with her dress as she ascended the stairs, and they huddled close while posing alongside costars Owen Wilson, Adrien Brody, and the French actress Lea Seydoux. Rachel and Michael made the trip to France together in order to promote the comedy after a stay in LA doing press and hanging out with his 12-year-old daughter, Lily.
Midnight in Paris Trailer: Owen Wilson and Rachel McAdams in The City of Lights
In recent years, Woody Allen's films have gotten to be a bit formulaic: he compiles an impeccable cast and drops them in an iconic city, then lets the characters' story lines intersect with each other. Sometimes the formula works (as in Vicky Cristina Barcelona), but other times we're not so lucky (as in You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger). After watching the trailer for his newest film, it's hard to predict where Midnight in Paris will fall on the spectrum.

The movie centers on Owen Wilson and Rachel McAdams as an engaged couple visiting Paris. They start to grow apart when McAdams's character takes a liking to a stuffy American intellectual (Michael Sheen) that her fiancé doesn't quite approve of. Meanwhile, Wilson's character starts seeing his own side to the City of Love, but it's not clear what he's really doing on his late-night walks. There's no question that Wilson and McAdams have charm to spare, and Paris is the perfect backdrop for any film, but the trailer boasts only a few chuckles (and we barely glimpse the rest of the cast, which includes Marion Cotillard, Adrien Brody, and Kathy Bates). The good news is that we won't have to wait long to find out more about the movie, as it's set to premiere at the Cannes Film Festival in May. Watch the preview for yourself when you read more
Alyssa Milano Debuts Her Baby Bump With New Dad Owen Wilson and Mum Christina Applegate at the Hall Pass Premiere
The stars of Hall Pass stepped out to premiere their comedy in LA Wednesday. New dad and leading man Owen Wilson smiled for photographers, while his costars Jason Sudeikis, Jenna Fischer, Alyssa Milano, and Christina Applegate posed nearby. Christina, who recently debuted her newborn daughter, Sadie, in People, talked on the red carpet about her dream of joining Jenna in The Office. Alyssa used the event to finally show off her baby bump after announcing her pregnancy earlier this week. Modern Family's Sarah Hyland, meanwhile, went casual for the screening following a glamorous Tuesday night out at the Costume Designers Guild Awards. Owen's latest movie is one of the February releases you're most excited to see.
