There are so many great British brands which are actually producing clothes and employing people in the UK. There are a vast selection of brands which we should be proud of including Mulberry and Burberry. There are also plenty of young, upcoming designers (including Osman Yousefzada who designed Sarah Brown's Elle Style Awards dress) who are helping to expand the trend.

Anna Friel hit the red carpet last night looking what could only be described as fierce! The actress was promoting her latest movie Land of the Lost in Los Angeles wearing a floor length Osman Yousefzada gown. She teamed it with Lara Bohinc jewellery and bronze platform heels which added an edgy touch.

Details are everything, especially when it comes to fashion and beauty. That's why I love how designers and makeup artists have collaborated to come up with fun and funky nail polish colours to enhance the look of their clothing on the Autumn 2009 runways. Take a peek at these seven shades and tell me which you are most likely to wear with your winter wardrobe.

Now that the Fashion Weeks are over, we can sit back and reflect on some of the key trends. From the gorgeously varied looks at Paris to the edgier styles at London Fashion Week, it's time to start working those trends already. One of my hot tips for next Spring is the bold lip colours seen on the catwalks at Osman Yousefzada, Betty Jackson and Harriet's Muse.

Now that London Fashion Week has been over for a few days, I've been able to mull over photos and collect my thoughts about everything that I saw last week. Hair was mostly braided, crimped and pulled back, and the makeup looks ranged from neutral, almost bare-faces to one accentuated feature like bright lips.
I loved seeing the bold coral-matte lip look at Osman Yousefzada, the deep and delicious tomato-red pigment at Betty Jackson and the fun and punchy-cartoon pink lips at Harriet's Muse and Emma Bell.

The sun was shining for the final day of London Fashion Week which was appropriate for Osman Yousefzada's Spring line. He presented in the middle of Hyde Park in a glass building with the sun streaming in on the longest catwalk this week (or at least it seemed like it). Osman is probably best known for his collaboration with Mango where he designed a line of LBDs.

I'm getting super excited about London Fashion Week now, especially as one of my favourite brands, No7, is set to sponsor the catwalk show makeup for hip young designer Osman Yousefzada.
Celebrity makeup artist and No7 creative director Lisa Eldridge, is set to rock the catwalk using the latest skincare and make-up products from the collection and I, for one, can't wait to see the results.
Lisa says “It’s really exciting to be working with Osman on the show and I’m sure we’ll come up with something that will compliment the collection perfectly, although I can’t say too much at this stage.

Today designer Osman Yousefzada made an appearance in London's Selfridges to give an exclusive preview of his ten-piece range of little black dresses. The collection is not available in Mango stores until March 17th but a limited number were available from the Mango stand on the ground floor of Selfridges today. The collection of black dresses with gold and cobalt blue detailing take inspiration from Masai tribes, Ancient Greece, India and Osman's Afghan origins.

When watching fashion shows some trends leave me a little bit overexcited. For example, as a child of the '90s I couldn't wait to tell you about the return of '90s trends and knew you'd be pleased to hear about it. However, on the flip side some trends leave me with a horrible feeling in my stomach and I know I'll have to sit this trend out.
