Hunter to Launch Outerwear

In 2005, Hunter was thrust in to the limelight when Kate Moss chose to wear some of their boots to Glastonbury. The model teamed them with some barely there shorts and a waistcoat creating an iconic festival look. Ever since then, the boots have become a staple on the festival circuit. The brand is 155 years old, but had previously been reserved for practical wear!

The Scottish company have now decided to build on their success by launching outerwear. Wendy Svarre, chief executive officer of Hunter Boot USA told WWD, "Outerwear was really a natural extension with the DNA of our brand. We are known for the outdoors and high-performance footwear. It just took a while to find the right factories in Asia."

The new collection will include a trench with a zip-out red lining, a hooded white parka with fur trim and an A-line wool peacoat. Hunter will launch the new pieces in July (in time for festival season). Are you excited to see what the designs are like?

Luxury Designers Create 3D Glasses

3D glasses have come away since they were made from cardboard and had two different coloured lenses.

3D glasses have come away since they were made from cardboard and had two different coloured lenses. When heading too see a film in 3D, you are handed some very unflattering plastic lenses – and this could be about to change! High end designers have spotted a gap in the market for a stylish version of these glasses.

Oakley were the first to get in on this with a pair retailing at $150 and now Armani Exchange and Gucci are following suit. These new designs are aviator style with curved lenses. They will be available by the end of the year. I think this is a great idea, but I am not sure how much use you would actually get out of them. Would you invest in a pair of luxury 3D glasses?

If you're getting a little tired of the High Street lately, then hold on for just a little bit longer as something exciting is happening! Oxford Street is going to have a new hot shopping destination from 4th November as Vero Moda lands on UK shores. Yesterday, I was lucky enough to get a sneak preview of some of the pieces on offer and they looked great.

You might already be aware of the store as it's available at ASOS and they already have stores across Europe. The price point is very affordable with even the most luxury leather items retailing for under £200. I fell for the Very collection which includes this leather jacket and a chic jumpsuit.
