Freaky or Fabulous? Pelvis Creeper

I first spotted these unusual heels at the Office press preview back in May. They reminded me of punky fashions that you might see around London's Camden market. To be honest, I didn't think much of the style but since then I have seen them in countless fashion magazines and have begun to reconsider.

I think I am more put off by the name 'Pelvis Creeper' (£80) than the actual style but they're still bulky for me. What do you think?

Bank Holiday Sale News: Office Shoes

Good news if you're going to be stuck in London for this bank holiday weekend. Office Shoes are hosting a designer sample sale with up to 50% off designer shoes.

Bringing together shoes from Offspring, Office and Poste Mistress the sale will take place from 10-7pm on Friday 23rd, Saturday 24th, Sunday 25th and Monday 26th of May at the Truman Brewery, London, E1 6QR.

UPDATE: They have shoes by Dries Van Noten, Miu Miu and Repetto to name but a few. I went down their today and picked up a pair, to see them

I bought a pair of purple Repetto ballet pumps for £40. Not bad considering they usually retail for around £100. I would recommend getting down there ASAP though as I'm sure they will have sold out of the good stuff by Monday.

They had a lot of Poste Mistress vintage style heels that were so cute for around £40.

Office Autumn/Winter Sneak Preview

Yesterday Office shoes gave us a sneak preview of what to expect from their Autumn/Winter collection. The enormous range was divided in to certain key trends including Rockabilly, Country Boho, and Grunge. There was such a vast selection from pretty velvet floral heels to chunky Dr Marten style heeled boots. I fell in love with the red glittery heels with bow detail. The heel and bows were completely covered in glitter whilst the rest was a patent peep toe court shoe. I am not too sure about the current penchant for loafers, although I will probably be back-tracking by September! I don't think you need me to explain how fabulous the quilted two-tone heels are! See below for just some of the new collection, due to hit stores in late August.

Love it or Hate it: Irregular Choice Heels

Bright coloured almost childlike heels appeared on the catwalk at Balenciaga but I don't know if Nicholas Ghesquiere expected the trend to be interpreted like this. The sandals are by Irregular Choice and like the brand, are quite irregular! There are elements of the shoe that I actually like but I can't manage to see past the chunky buckle. I imagine some girls could pull off these unusual shoes. They're £75 from Office.

Look for Less: Marni Peep-toe Heels

Marni seem to create funky, wearable heels season-on-season and I am always left deciding which pair from the collection I like best. This season they've released a line of chunk heeled sandals which are perfect if you want to stand a chance of actually being able to walk in them! This pair (left) are £348 at net-a-porter. They're perfect for summer days in the office or teamed with wide legged jeans.

If you can't quite stretch to the Marni price tag then this alternative option might be perfect for you. They're from Office (£60) and available in black or blue and grey.

This might be one of the few incidents where I actually prefer the High Street equivalent. What do you think?
