Over the last week in London, TOWIE star Maria Fowler teamed her red dress with a skull clutch on a night out. A couple of weeks ago, Nancy Dell'Olio wore a classic Alexander McQueen Skull Knuckle Duster Clutch to the Richard Young gallery London, and just days before that British model Nicola McClean carried the Max C Skull Bag (£25) to the TRIC Awards in London. Shop skull bags below, and let me know which is your favourite style!
Last night's Inside Soap Awards took place in London after the rain had finally dissipated. The ladies of the silver screen lined the red carpet in glamorous gowns of all different colours, looking beautiful and coiffed as expected. Nicola McLean wore a floor-length cream gown and Brooke Vincent from Coronation Street wore a black one-shoulder body-con dress whilst Natalie Anderson from Emmerdale donned a crimson strapless cocktail dress. Other ladies in black included Tanya Franks from EastEnders wore a sheer, stripey tunic and pants and Michelle Keegan from Coronation Street wore a drapey dress with a big black bow to cinch her waist. Which of these outfits do you like best?
"Both Nicola and Tom are absolutely over the moon with the new addition to their family and delighted to have a brother for their other son, Rocky. Both Nicola and the baby are happy and healthy, and will be spending the next few days resting in hospital."
Congratulations to the growing family!
Stars of A Christmas Carol Jim Carrey, Colin Firth and Bob Hoskins literally lit up London last night at the world premiere of the film, which they combined with turning on the capital's Christmas lights! They were joined by Jenny McCarthy in a Holiday season appropriate red coat, as well as The Saturdays and The X Factor contestants, who were more popular than the film stars! Olly Murs, Joe McElderry, Danyl Johnson, Jamie Archer, Lloyd Daniels and John and Edward Grimes looked smart in their suits, while Stacey Solomon and Lucie Jones looked lovely in their frocks: FabUK has the lowdown on how to copy Lucie's style.
Jim Carrey also switched on Oxford Street's Christmas lights with Jason Donovan, and Peter Andre, The Saturdays and Taio Cruz performed for the crowds. Over at Regent Street, Colin Firth turned on the lights while Oliver!'s Jodie Pregner, the Noisettes and Daniel Merriweather took to the stage. Bob Hoskins did the honours over at St Paul's Cathedral, and was joined on stage by Little Boots, Faryl Smith and Spandau Ballet. Andrea Bocelli then led crowds to try to break the record for the world's biggest carol singing event. What a fun evening! Check out more pictures of the premiere and the lights plus the trailer for the festive film after the jump.

Peter Andre wore a white suit outside ITV's studios in London yesterday to launch his new show Peter Andre: The Next Chapter, which starts tomorrow and which the majority of you are more interested in than Katie Price's series. After the photocall Pete changed into a leather jacket for a night out at May Fair Hotel, and was joined by his old flame Melanie Brown, Kate's nemsis Nicola McLean and previously rumoured fling Chantelle Houghton. After Kate's friends Gary Cockerill and Phil Turner arrived, however, arguments reportedly ensued, perhaps because of a rude song Pete has written about Kate, which we will see on his show tomorrow.

Isla Fisher went for a glittering LBD as she walked the red carpet in London's Leicester Square last night for the UK premiere of Confessions Of A Shopaholic. FabUK wants to know do you love or hate her look? She was joined by her gorgeous British costar Hugh Dancy, who has recently got engaged to Claire Danes, as well as the book's author Sophie Kinsella, who has tips on how to feed a shopping habit in a credit crunch. Sophie's pink dress brought a welcome pop of colour, as did VV Brown's purple number. The film is one of my must see movies, and my girl Buzz certainly enjoyed it. Check out the trailer and let me know if you plan to see it, and just click on read more to see an exclusive behind-the-scenes feature.

It has been reported, that 67 percent more British women are going blonde in an attempt to lift their spirits during this depressing economic darkness. It seems that although only ten percent of the population is naturally blonde, they feel that the lighter their hair, the lighter their mood. Celebrity hairstylist Andrew Barton says,
"I don't believe it is purely a coincidence that there's been a huge sales rise in blonde hair products during these tough financial times. Many of my female clients say they feel more confident, more youthful and more attractive when they go blonde and they get more attention."
Frankly, I'm surprised by this news, as having been both a blonde and a brunette, it's far more costly to maintain blonde hair than you would expect. Roots need to be touched up (depending on how quickly your hair grows) anywhere between four to six weeks, and brassiness sets in almost immediately as a result of the lime-scale in our water. Do you think that bleaching your hair would help brighten up your feelings surrounding the credit crunch?
After eating bugs and arguing with David Van Day on I'm A Celebrity, Nicola McLean is back in the UK doing what she does best. The glamour model posed alongside Father Christmas in Ultimo's new Red Boudoir lingerie range at Oxford Street's Debenhams store yesterday, before moving on to Romford's Debenhams to show off yet more of the underwear company's wears. It seems that bras have come in handy in the education of her son, as Nicola has told Richard and Judy she uses bra sizes to teach the alphabet to her two-year-old, Rocky. Nicola also spoke about her spat with Jordan during the interview, which aired on Watch last night, saying:
"I went into the jungle thinking that Jordan was an icon, an absolute legend, she's amazing and I've come out and seen that she's gave me the absolute worst press and it's just so sad really."
This could turn out to be another one of those long-running feuds. Sigh.
