Brighten Up Your Black Outfit With Colourful Shoes

Lara Stone, Katie Price, and Lydia Rose Bright were all spotted yesterday walking around London in bright shoes that added an instant shock of colour to their hum drum outfits. I personally love how Lara made her black maternity dress pop with her bold orange shoes, whilst Katie's shoes were a fashion statement all on their own. Lydia's sexy red stiletto's matched her lipstick and added drama to her casual jeans and black and white top. I've gathered a slough of trending bright shoes below for you to shop. Take a peek and let me know which pair is at the top of today's wish list!
What Was The Biggest Fashion Trend of 2012?

With designers launching their own seasonal lines, combined with their collaborations with other brands too, it can be quite difficult to keep styles and trends straight. 2012 proved that this year flew by as fast as lightening taking trends in and out of its wake with each passing month. However, as we look back on what was hot this year, five distinct trends come to mind: the flattering, waist-cinching, tummy-covering peplum, bright pastel coloured jeans from the Spring/Summer season, neon bags, mint, or peppermint green anything and the there of course was colour-blocking which translated into bags, shoes, tops, trousers, coats and dresses.
Other trends I wasn't perhaps quite as fond of include the pussy bow blouse, lace paneling and knuckledusters, but I definitely got into the aforementioned five. What do you think was the biggest fashion trend of the year?
Step Into Spring With 2 Trends In 1 — 20 Neon Ankle-Strap Shoes
One quick way to embrace this season's trends is to double up! Neon is popping up all over the body from shoes to bags, with many designers including fluorescent shades in their work. You can go the whole hog with block colour on your feet, or keep it subtle with a splash. Ankle-straps were big news at Paris Fashion Week's Fall shows, so by investing in a pair now you'll be ahead of the game come Autumn. Put these two trends together and your toes will garner all kinds of good attention. Take a break from the grey weather and look at my picks for neon ankle-strap shoes this Spring, from flats to wedges to delicate heels!

Love It or Hate It? Neon Trainers
Last night, The City girls Erin Lucas and Jessica Heart joined Ali Lohan, to celebrate the new partnership between Nike and Nylon Magazine. The party favours included neon coloured (erm old school) high top trainers in fun colours like pink, yellow, orange and blue. What are your thoughts on bringing neon footwear back? Do you think you'd be able to rock them?

Love It or Hate It? Jordan's Neon Pink Nails
Yesterday in London, Katie Price was spotted returning to the Mayfair Hotel. I'm not sure if she was trying to keep a low profile (after leaving her solicitor's office), however, her hot pink sunglasses and neon nails glowed through the back-seat of her van giving away her anonymity. I remember that bright, fluorescent nails were big last Summer, and I guess they're back again for round two. What do you think of Ms. Price's high wattage nail polish?

Trend Alert: Neon Accessories
Recently I have noticed a bit of a neon resurgence on the High Street. From earrings, to shoes, to scarves it seems you can't head to a party without a touch of fluorescent!
I have rounded up some of the best accessories currently on offer which should jazz up any ensemble. I especially like these heart bangles (£10) which are a bit cheesy, but fun!
The best thing about this trend is that it easily updates a day outfit for night without too much hassle. See below to get your neon fix.
