The Elle Style Awards are always an exciting event as they bring together some of fashion's most exciting faces. This year is no exception as models like Naomi Campbell, Agyness Deyn and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley are joined on the red carpet by stars of the silver screen Kristen Stewart and Carey Mulligan. Geri Halliwell rocked a Brigitte Bardot vibe with her fringe tied back, while Girls Aloud's Kimberley Walsh went with a flowing layered look. Highlights from London's Fashion for Relief Show

Tonight, Somerset House kicked London Fashion Week off with a bang as it played host to the Fashion for Relief Haiti show. Plans were announced for the event several weeks ago and it did not disappoint. All of the clothes seen at the event will be auctioned on net-a-porter.com to raise money for the White Ribbon Alliance's work in Haiti. Click through to see some of the highlights.

Some of the UK's biggest models joined forces with first lady Sarah Brown today to launch a campaign to raise money for the victims of the Haiti earthquake. Naomi Campbell, Erin O'Connor and Yasmin Le Bon were all present at the photocall at Somerset House where they revealed plans for a charity fashion show on 18th February. The Fashion for Relief show isn't the first time Naomi has got involved in a charitable cause. She has previously raised money for Mumbai following the terrorist attack and for those affected by the British floods. I can't wait to see who gets involved on the 18th February!

Fab Flash: BFC Reveales 25 Most Powerful List

The 2009 British Fashion Awards take place this evening (you can see a full list of nominees here) and with just hours to go, the British Fashion Council have announced a list of the 25 most powerful in the industry. The list was chosen by a panel which included British Vogue editor Alexandra Shulman and contains both household names (Kate Moss, Vivienne Westwood, Paul Smith) and lesser known industry insiders (Lulu Kennedy, Louis Wilson and Joan Burnstein) highlighting the size and impact of fashion.

It's also interesting how many of the people mentioned have been knighted proving the importance of the industry as a whole to the UK. I am surprised that neither Stella McCartney nor Jane Shepherdson make an appearance and nor do any magazine editors. I would love to hear your thoughts on this.

Valentino: The Last Emperor Premieres in Milan

It seems like this movie has been doing the rounds for a while, and since Valentino Garavani retired from his own label he has been busy promoting it. The designer and his business partner Giancarlo Giammetti were in Milan last night to attend the premiere of Valentino: The Last Emperor along with some of Italy's most fashionable names. Naomi Campbell and her beau Vladislav Doronin were joined on the red carpet by Giorgio Armani and Margherita Missoni who looked colourful in a boyfriend blazer.

Naomi Campbell Speaks Out About "Minority Models"

Naomi Campbell has long pioneered ethnic diversity on the catwalk having received a boost to her own career from Yves Saint Laurent. The British born model was part of Italian Vogue's historic issue last Summer, but this weekend she spoke out about how there is still a great “injustice” within the fashion industry.

Speaking at the 4th Annual Thurgood Marshall College Fund Front Row Fashion Show she explained, “There is a small group of people whose minds we have to change because we are living in a multicultural society.”

Naomi added, “Nelson Mandela always told me to speak my mind and the consequences will take care of themselves.” She received a fashion icon award at the event which also honoured makeup artist Sam Fine, Oprah Winfrey’s hairstylist, Andre Walker and the late Michael Jackson. Do you think that more should be done for minority models in the industry?

On Our Radar: Naomi Campbell Collaborates With Louis Vuitton

Naomi Campbell is often finding ways to raise money for a good cause using her fashion credentials. She has previously organised the Fashion for Relief catwalk show, and a fundraiser in India and now she has revealed plans to collaborate with Louis Vuitton.

The supermodel has created a handbag for the design house to raise money for the White Ribbon Alliance. It's a classic square shaped canvas bag with strips of metallic leather. The bag is yet to have a name, but will begin retailing in March to coincide with International Women's Day for 1,900 euros (about £1,750).

She told WWD, "People say fashion people don’t do anything. We do a lot." She missed out on the Louis Vuitton Spring show earlier this week, but did add her stamp of approval. “I’m a big Angela Davis fan, although I’m not sure if that was the inspiration. I love an Afro. I’ve rocked an Afro many a time.”

Fab Flash: Naomi Campbell Reportedly Attacks Photographer

This weekend claims have been made against Naomi Campbell as a photographer accuses her of lashing out on a recent holiday to Lipari, near Sicily. Gaetano Di Giovanni says that he was scratched by the supermodel who was with her billionaire boyfriend at the time.

Speaking to Italian newspaper La Repubblica he explained, "First she hit with her bag, screaming at me and then she tried to slap me. I managed to avoid her – but her nails still got my eye."

Last Summer, Naomi was sentence to community service following an outburst of rage at British Airways staff. In a weird co-incidence, she was also accused of abuse on this exact day in 2005 by model Yvonne Scio who said the pair had a disagreement over clothes.

Naomi's reps have denied todays fresh claims simply saying, "Reports that Naomi Campbell attacked a photographer are completely untrue." The police have received no complaint from Giovanni.
