Following years of rock stars and actors telling us about lending their hands to good causes, it seems fashion is finally catching up with hands on charity work. This isn't the first time, but there is definitely a growing trend for models to get their hands dirty for a worthwhile cause. With so many models being from humble backgrounds (think Natalia Vodianova, Alek Wek or Iman) it makes sense that the fashion world should give something back.

Lydia Hearst was recently announced as the new face of Myla lingerie (you might recognise her from the series finale of Gossip Girl where she played an object of Chuck's affections) so it was quite fitting that she should host National Underwear Day. The events took place in New York and last night she hosted a party in this lace ensemble. The body hugging lace dress was revealing and unforgiving creating a distinct vampish look for Lydia and highlighting her porcelain skin.
