Liv Tyler looked elegant in her strapless gown with her father Steven Tyler on the red carpet, while Robert Downey Jr gave Jude Law some support as they spoke to the press on their way in. Emma Stone rocked a modern look which was very different from her BAFTAs hairstyle, and Madonna took her gorgeous daughter Lourdes to the bash. She accessorized with a gold hair clip to match her shimmery eye makeup. Emma, Daniel, and Rupert all fielded questions about saying goodbye to the series as well as the much-talked about Emma and Daniel makeout session in the movie. The trio and their highly anticipated film came across the ocean after their London screening last week, and this time a few other big names joined Hogwart's most famous students. Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick brought James Wilkie to check out the film while Keri Russell was rolling solo. Madonna and her daughter Lourdes caused a stir in Manhattan last night as they arrived to promote their new collection, Material Girl, at Macy's. Taylor Momsen, who's the face of the line's ad campaign, was first down the red carpet to speak about working with the duo. Taylor commented on Madonna and Lola's dynamic, saying, "They have a very normal mother-daughter relationship! They're very loving, and they work well together." Taylor was solo to promote the clothes and perform with her band last month, but yesterday Madonna and Lourdes were right behind her. They patiently made their way down the press line, with Lourdes opening up about the trends she's loving for autumn. The trio then headed up into the department store to start the launch party, where Lola's brother Rocco showed off his breakdancing moves.

Earlier this year, Madonna announced plans for a clothing line to be named 'Material Girl' which was inspired by her daughter, Lourdes', style.

The collection will be available from Macys from August and sketches of the collection have already been revealed. Lourdes, or Lola as she calls herself, has now started a blog about the collection which she writes herself about things she loves. For example, she writes "I am totally obsessivo about 80’s shorts… You know the kind that makes your butt look kinda big, with a grunge-looking shirt tucked in. It’s kinda nerdy but I love it."

Lola also asks about rompers (playsuits), "So I want to know what you guys think about rompers… is that like a hit or miss, ‘cause I’m not sure. If you comment, be sure to tell me what you think." It's definitely worth taking a peek at her blog, but you might, like me, find yourself feeling jealous of a 13 year old...

The movie premiered in NYC last night and attracted big name guests like Nicole Kidman's best friend Naomi Watts, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, Tobey Maguire, and Madonna brought her daughter Lourdes to watch the movie too!

Penelope Cruz looked stunning in her bright red gown, Judi Dench was understated in a long black dress and elegant scarf, while Kate Hudson brought her mum Goldie Hawn to the screening and they greeted Daniel Day Lewis on the red carpet!
