No7's Catwalk Collaboration with Osman Yousefzada
I'm getting super excited about London Fashion Week now, especially as one of my favourite brands, No7, is set to sponsor the catwalk show makeup for hip young designer Osman Yousefzada.
Celebrity makeup artist and No7 creative director Lisa Eldridge, is set to rock the catwalk using the latest skincare and make-up products from the collection and I, for one, can't wait to see the results.
Lisa says “It’s really exciting to be working with Osman on the show and I’m sure we’ll come up with something that will compliment the collection perfectly, although I can’t say too much at this stage.
London Fashion Week, Autumn/Winter 2008: Christopher Kane
As London Fashion Week continues in to day three hot young designer Christopher Kane presented his latest offering at The University of Westminster. The Scotish born designer has recently launched his collection with High Street giant Topshop and was subject to high expectations following the success of his previous collections. This season his collection moved in a new, slightly more grown up direction with references to his native country and plenty of applique.
The Look for Less: Lily Allen at London Fashion Week
It's been a busy week for Lily Allen what with the launch of her show and attending shows at London Fashion Week. I really liked her outfit, it is smart but with a flash of colour (with bright red nails!). I'm not sure about the shoes, maybe bright heels would have been better?
London Fashion Week, Autumn/Winter 2008: PPQ
Early today the PPQ show took place at London Fashion Week, but the attention seems to have been more focused on the star studded front row. The design duo presented another collection of playful contemporary clothes, which are sure to be popular with London's starlets. The penchant for body con continued with bright ice-skating skirts exaggerated with plenty of volume.
London Fashion Week, Autumn/Winter 2008: Kelly and Pixie at Topshop Unique
London Fashion Week kicked off this morning opening with a show by Paul Costelloe followed closely by Topshop Unique. The Topshop show was predictably star studded with a front row including celebs du jour Alexa Chung, Kelly Osbourne and Pixie Geldof. Kelly and Pixie were both sporting the latest must have accessory, heart shaped sunglasses!
London Fashion Week, Autumn/Winter 2008: Luella
Valentine's Day has proved to be a big day for London Fashion Week from the opening show by Asprey to the closing with a highly anticipated return from Vivienne Westwood. The second show of the day was by celebrity-favourite Luella. This season was not short on support with an A-list front row including Kelly Osbourne and Lily Allen.
London Fashion Week, Autumn/Winter 2008: House of Holland
We knew that House of Holland could not live off printed t-shirts forever so it was great to see a slight change in direction from designer Henry Holland for Autumn/Winter '08. There was a brief flash of his staple item with a grey printed t-shirt simply reading 'HOH'.
There was a running Scottish theme for the new line, with nearly every piece featuring tartan and even a couple of knitted plain kilts, a contemporary colour scheme bringing the pieces up to date.
