Best of 2009: Model of the Year
There have been some real Fab Faces on the catwalk this year in the major fashion capitals. Whilst models Lily Donaldson and Chanel Iman have become household names, newcomers Lara Stone and Abbey Lee Kershaw are busy making a name for themselves. Meanwhile, British beauty Rosie Huntington-Whiteley joined Miranda Kerr in the Victoria's Secret line-up for a gorgeous show.
Fab Face: Lily Donaldson
Lily Donaldson was a key fixtures on the catwalks in New York, London, Paris and Milan. The British model strutted her stuff at some of the biggest shows of the season including Valentino, Burberry, and Lanvin. The variation in design houses that she represented shows off her versatility as a model and confirms her place as one of the world's top models.
Stylish People Party at the Serpentine
The Serpentine gallery in London's Hyde Park held it's annual Summer party as some of London's most glamorous folk gathered together for a few glasses of champagne! Amongst the party goers were many models including Jacquetta Wheeler, Erin O'Connor and Lily Donaldson along with classic faces Jo Wood and Bianca Jagger. They were joined by designers Matthew Williamson and Patrick Cox amongst others.
Behind the Seams: Burberry Lights up NYC
Burberry are doing such a good job of flying the flag for Blighty in the US that they literally lit up the New York skyline last night. The cities Mayor dedicated the whole day to the brand as a thank you for their contribution to retail and they had a party at the new Madison Avenue HQ to celebrate. The party is just a few days after Burberry announced its move to London Fashion Week.
Fab Faces: '00s Models
We've nearly reached the end of our look back at five decades of models from Twiggy in the '60s, to Janice Dickinson in the '70s, Yasmin Le Bon in the '80s and the supermodels of the '90s. Here we are now in the present day, and although many of the big names from the '90s are still modeling, there are a few new kids on the block!

Fab Ad: Lily Donaldson for Burberry
Christopher Bailey's Spring collection for Burberry Prorsum was one of my favourite lines this year. I really like the way that Bailey uses the season to his advantage, for example, for Autumn 08 he covered the catwalk in leaves and for Spring he created a look for a rainy summer's day (very appropriate in old Blighty). Everybody was intrigued to see which of his many catwalk faces would represent the brand in the campaign.
Best of 2008: Model of the Year
At this year's British Fashion Awards the BFC presented Jourdan Dunn with the model of the year prize. She has had a very busy year and has spoken out about the lack of black models in fashion. However, she isn't the only model to have clocked a fair few catwalk miles in 2008, it has also been a good few seasons for Daisy, Agyness, Lily, Rosie and Natalia!
Love it or Hate it: Lily Donaldson for UK Vogue
Can you believe that this is the first time Lily Donaldson has graced the cover of British Vogue? The British model has already made a name for herself in ad campaigns and on the catwalk starring alongside Agyness Deyn at Burberry and Irina Lazareanu for Mulberry.
The cover for August 2008 sees Lily in a Gucci Summer dress.
Lily Donaldson Wants to Show you her Pants
Lily Donaldson has been busy on the red carpet at Cannes. I don't really get the point in this dress. It just seems to take subtle slits to the extreme and ends up with Lily showing off her knickers to the whole of Cannes!
Who Wore it Better? Battle of the Supermodels
Agyness Deyn and Lily Donaldson both appeared on the catwalk for Burberry and both star in the brightly coloured ad campaign. However, Agyness recently attended Heal the Bay fundraiser wearing a dress that Lily modeled on the catwalk. Who do you think wears the woven detail dress better?
