Both Melanie Brown and Tori Spelling attended last night's NBC Universal's Press Tour Cocktail Party in Los Angeles donning attention grabbing hair. Last night, the Hollywood Life's 6th Annual Hollywood Style Awards took place in Los Angeles as some of the cities hippest stars partied. Last night at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards in New York City, the most common makeup theme from the ladies on the red carpet was black, heavily lined eyes paired with pink lipstick. The eye style varied from dark and smoky on Kristin Cavallari to clean and winged on Madonna. Lips also came in a wide spectrum of shades ranging from candy floss pink on Solange Knowles to pinky-coral on Katy Perry.

Lauren Conrad hosted a pool party this weekend at a Las Vegas hotel. The star hid away her bikini body under a sheer black maxi dress which had batwing sleeves. Lauren Conrad and Lo Bosworth were spotted leaving Bar Deluxe in Los Angeles over the weekend. Lauren, looked fashionable in a red sequin mini and a low slung black vest, but what really caught my eye was her alternating red and blue nail polish. From what I can see, her thumb also appears to have white dots on it, (or are those stars), just like the American flag.
