Last night at the swanky Serpentine Gallery in Hyde Park, Burberry hosted its big Summer party clad with oodles of celebrities and socialites. The dresses I liked best from the evening were on Alexa Chung, Donna Air (love the bright yellow colour), Yasmine Le Bon in grass green, Julia Restoin-Roitfeld in sheer black and Poppy Delevigne in a teal Pucci print. Chanel hosted a dinner party that drew an eclectic crowd last night as part of the Tribeca Film Festival. Chloe Sevigny, Rose Byrne, and Naomi Watts were among the big-screen stars who attended the event at the Odeon restaurant in NYC, while Julia Restoin-Roitfeld, Zoe Kravitz, and Lauren Hutton were among the models. From the art world, both Jeff Koons and Julian Schnabel were on hand. The French fashion house dressed several of its guests, including Naomi, who brought her mother as her date for the evening out. Chanel has had a major presence at this year's festival, with Karl Lagerfeld premiering a series of Magnum ice cream ads starring one of his many muses, Rachel Bilson, last week. We spoke with the actress on the red carpet at the big debut. The trendsetter chatted with us about her upcoming TV series, Hart of Dixie, and also admitted to "geeking out" after Karl gifted her with one of his Chanel notepads during their short-film shoot.
The beautiful, and newly signed face of Lancôme, Julia Restoin-Roitfeld has been a busy bee over the past couple of weeks, especially this weekend in Paris as she made her way from Chanel to Givenchy wearing two different, yet equally show-stopping lipstick colours. This look is much more bold that what she was wearing at the Burberry Prorsum show when we chatted, and I actually really like both the soft and extreme styles on her. How about you, and if you had to choose, which is your favourite lip hue on the French fashionista?
I'm still buzzing from all of the excitement from the Burberry Prorsum Show. Getting to go backstage was a dream, and the front row was celebrity packed. FabSugarUK and I walked around talking to familiar faces like Ellie Goulding and Daisy Lowe, however, one chit chat in particular that got me especially excited was with Julia Restoin-Roitfeld who dished about her new gig with Lancôme.
How did it evolve that you have become to be the new face of Lancôme? It just really happened out of nowhere, but I still can't believe it to be honest. It's like any girls' dream come true, and it's French like me, so I'm just flattered!

Another Magazine celebrated it's 10th anniversary at London Fashion Week last night. Party attendees included some of London's coolest names including Kate Moss, Alison Mosshart, Daphne Guinness, Tilda Swinton and Jaime Winstone. They were joined by models Lily Donaldson, Erin O'Connor, Alice Dellal and Poppy Delevigne as they danced to Mark Ronson on the decks. The international fashion shows kicked off last night as New York begins to play host to the Autumn/Winter 2011 shows. The week began with a star studded amfAR gala at Cipriani. There were many stylish ladies on the red carpet – mainly working monochrome looks. Fashion industry stars like Carine Roitfeld, Tamara Mellon and Donna Karan posed alongside models Helena Christensen and Karen Elson. The event was also supported by American royalty Chelsea Clinton. The Serpentine gallery in Hyde Park held it's annual Summer party last night attracting some very stylish guests. Models, socialites, designers and artists all mingled together enjoying the English Summer evening. There were some gorgeous colourful ensembles like Lily Cole's blue maxi and Hayley Atwell's little red dress, whilst others stuck to a monochrome palette.
