Outlandish Updo's From Yesterday

Something must have been in the air yesterday as I saw not one or two, but three hair-raising updo styles in New York, Los Angeles and London.

Something must have been in the air yesterday as I saw not one or two, but three hair-raising updo styles in New York, Los Angeles and London. Firstly, Thandi Newton was spotted in Temperley at the premiere of her latest film Good Deeds with her hair pulled back at the sides, yet curled and piled high on the top of her head. It even seems like extensions have been added into her fine hair to create volume. Next, television personality Jodie March was seen outside of the ITV Studios in London with shockingly bright red hair tied into a spiral bun with red feathery floral accessories weaved in. And finally, the runway at New York Fashion Week was a flutter with the models at Josie Natori wearing two-toned plaited intertwining intricate updos. Out of these three styles, is there one that you think you could actually wear?

Will You Watch John Prescott's TV Series?

Former Deputy Prime Minister John Prescott and glamour model Jodie Marsh — surely one of the strangest celebrity couples ever.

Former Deputy Prime Minister John Prescott and glamour model Jodie Marsh — surely one of the strangest celebrity couples ever. However, the mismatched pair weren't on a date at the Wellington Club this week, oh no, it was all in the name of research for John's new TV series. Talking about the BBC2 documentary, which has the working title Prescott On Class, a source explained:

"John has been meeting all sorts of different people up and down the country who personify new elements of the class structure in 21st century Britain, which now includes media celebrities. Jodie is an example of a media celebrity and they went to the Wellington Club because it is where these people hang out. We approached a number of celebrities and Jodie was happy to speak to him."

Sounds like it could make compulsive viewing: what do you reckon?

Jodie Pops Out To The Three And Out Premiere

Jodie Marsh's buxom new look got an outing at the premiere of new Brit flick Three And Out in Leicester Square yesterday.

Jodie Marsh's buxom new look got an outing at the premiere of new Brit flick Three And Out in Leicester Square yesterday. She took up quite a bit of the paparazzi's attention in her interesting outfit (what's with the teeny hat?), but the film's gorgeous star Gemma Arterton also managed to get a look in. There's a reason she's about to be a Bond girl, and she certainly looked stunning in her red dress last night.

Her co-stars Imelda Staunton, Colm Meaney and Mackenzie Crook also attended the event, and got support from well-known faces including Edith Bowman, Rory Bremner and Danielle Lloyd. New mum Kerry Katona didn't make it out to the premiere, but she's been getting praise from Mackenzie for her cameo in the film, he said, "I think she has a bit of Barbara Windsor about her...Trust me, she is a talent." Mackenzie also had to defend the movie from protesters on the red carpet last night, due to its controversial suicide storyline. I look forward to seeing how the comedy deals with this content when it's out nationwide on Friday.
