The lovely Jessica Biel was spotted by the paparazzi in New York City with newly lightened reddish-looking locks. I'm definitely curious to see her hair all done up because it's hard to tell just how much the sunshine is influencing this new hue. Jessica has proven that can pull of a trio of shades, even looking gorgeous as a brunette with chunky blonde highlights too.

It was a colourful night at the Oscars with a few surprises in the awards department, but the red carpet was quite neutral with many beautiful pale gowns. The pale palette reflects how understated the red carpet was with minimal jewels and less bling! Click through to see some beautiful creations from Christian Dior, Prada, and Armani Prive.

Actress Jessica Biel looked luminous at the gala screening of Easy Virtue last night, as part of the London Film Festival. I love the caramel shades of dirty blonde and brown in her hair and the way she isn't overly groomed. Her skin looks radiant too, with the sort of healthy glow that we all crave.

I loved Sandra Bullock's hair at the 2010 Oscars. It just looked so sleek, with a hint of a retro wave, but still modern. The glossy chestnut colour also worked brilliantly with her makeup.

Last night in Hollywood, a long list of famous faces lined the red carpet to promote the new romantic comedy Valentine's Day. The men looked dapper as ever in suits and bright smiles, whilst the ladies were decked out in gowns, cocktail dresses and dazzling hair and makeup. Two popular hairstyles of the evening were updos (check out Emma Roberts, Anne Hathaway and Jessica Biel), and long, loose waves like we see below on Julia, Demi, Jessica, Jen, Garcelle and Rebecca.

FabSugar UK has been front and centre watching all of the action at Graduate Fashion Week. I've been oggling the runways and have noticed a trend amongst these up and coming designers. Besides having their models sport the blue steel pout, three key schools opted for pulled back hair to ensure that their clothing gets all of the attention it deserves.

It seems old-fashioned, but that old adage that gentlemen prefer blondes may actually be true. At least when they are looking for a girlfriend or someone to have fun with. Brunettes, on the other hand, are still a safer bet when looking for a wife, according to new research.
