Karolina, Coco, and Erin Talk Style — and Halloween — at Bergdorf's Bash

Last night, Bergdorf Goodman celebrated their 111th anniversary at NYC's Plaza Hotel with many fashionable guests.

Last night, Bergdorf Goodman celebrated their 111th anniversary at NYC's Plaza Hotel with many fashionable guests. Karolina Kurkova arrived with Roberto Cavalli on her arm, while other model-designer pairs, including Erin Heatherton and Jason Wu and Coco Rocha and Zac Posen, made the rounds inside the Plaza's ballroom — take a look inside Bergdorf's glamorous bash. We were on the red carpet to ask the attendees all about their on-duty — and Halloween — style. Erin was thrilled with her ensemble for the night, telling us, "This is my most outrageous fashion moment!"

Karolina, meanwhile, is focusing on her son Archie's plans for Halloween. She told us, "For me, it's all about my 3-year-old son. He already decided what he's gonna be: Spider-Man! He's been sleeping in his costume every night — it's very cute — with the mask and everything."

Coco's not a mom just yet, but she reflected on her June 2010 wedding to husband James Conran and the kindness of designers like her friend Zac. She told us, "People have been so kind to me. Zac Posen, for example, [designed] my wedding dress. There are people who are so amazing in this industry that you don't have to buy things when you're a model!"

From High Drama to Sultry Silhouettes, Diane Kruger Is the Master of Red-Carpet Appeal

Diane Kruger turns 36 today, and we can say without a doubt that there are few people who can pull off a look the way she can.

Diane Kruger turns 36 today, and we can say without a doubt that there are few people who can pull off a look the way she can. Bringing fashionable risk to red-carpet fruition, she's not only adept at crafting the perfect ensemble, but Diane also stuns in them, too. With supermodel genetics, a serious acting talent, and a gift for styling, she's a triple threat — at the very least. No matter what you put her in, whether it be high drama in Chanel Haute Couture or a sexier form-fitted Calvin Klein number, she brings it to life, both in aesthetic and in attitude. Floor-length gowns, minidresses, full-skirted Victorian-inspired bustles, and lacy back cutouts — there's not a piece or silhouette she doesn't wear well. So, in honor of Diane's 36th birthday, we're taking a look at her best (and some of our absolute favorite) red-carpet looks so far — more than 55 stunning style moments to be exact. Blake Lively was among the starlets who stepped out in NYC last night to celebrate the launch of Jason Wu For Target. She joined the designer on the red carpet, which also hosted Chloë Moretz and Jaime King. French singer Yelle was on hand to entertain the attendees, who snacked on Laduree macarons. Jason later tweeted his appreciation for the turnout. He wrote, "Can I just say having Chloe Moretz and Jaime King at my Jason Wu for Target party meant the world to me."

The bash was Blake's second public appearance of the day after celebrating Gossip Girl's 100th episode in Queens with her small screen costars Ed Westwick and Penn Badgley. Mayor Michael Bloomberg was there to issue a special proclamation in honor of the series, which has brought many jobs to the Big Apple area during its five-year run.

This season, the shapes are smaller, structured, ladylike — and most importantly, make us entirely more efficient with on-the-go crossbody styles. As for the details and finishes, hands-free, smaller satchels are textured and embossed, darker in rich berry and shades of midnight blue, and come on chains or classic leather straps. To make your Fall shopping just a little easier, we've curated our top 25 picks at every price point. Before you click through, keep these key takeaways in mind:

  • Invest in a classic leather saddle bag in a rich brown or berry color. This will become your neutral, everyday bag that you can wear with everything from '70s denim to your midi skirts and Fall dresses.
  • Look for subtly luxe details like embossed snakeskin, leopard calf-hair, or chainstraps for a day-to-night style.
  • Opt for midnight blue bags as an alternative to black; they'll add more interest and dimension to your look.

Jason Wu Goes Plastic With Melissa Shoes

Jason Wu is making his mark as the first American to collaborate with Melissa, the famous plastic footwear brand based in Brazil.

Jason Wu is making his mark as the first American to collaborate with Melissa, the famous plastic footwear brand based in Brazil. “It was really interesting for me to explore design possibilities with plastic,” said Wu. “I wanted to take advantage of the materials I was given, make it all completely functional and waterproof and yet still remain extremely sophisticated.” Melissa, who touts past collabs with Gareth Pugh, Vivienne Westwood, and Jean Paul Gaultier, teamed up with Wu to create two styles, seen above, using its signature silhouettes: the Ultragirl ballet flat highlighting the Miss Wu owl, and the Lady Dragon pump, featuring a gold sunburst accent culled from his Fall collection. The collection launches in Spring and will be available in three colorways, black, burgundy, nude, and transparent gray.
