It looks like the fash pack in Londontown is getting ready for the Autumn/Winter 2012 show schedule which kicks off this Friday even though New York Fashion Week is still in full swing. Last night at the posh Savoy Hotel on the Strand, models, celebrities, socialites and supporters of master designers such as Burberry's Christopher Bailey, Roland Mouret, Sarah Burton and many more gathered for the Elle Style Awards. Take a peek at all of the high style attendees who managed to make their way onto the red carpet and leave a comment letting me know whose dress you like best.
In what is perhaps one of the chicest runs through airport security ever, Isabeli Fontana suits up in Mango's Spring '11 pieces for the label's latest lookbook, shot by Terry Richardson. While we long to appear as effortlessly put-together on our own travel days, we'll happily settle for a few pieces of the bright, floral-and-denim-injected collection. Click to see the gorgeous Isabeli, and the reasons why we're currently coveting a chambray wrap skirt, cropped knits, and a white blazer for Spring.
When Carine Roitfeld took the helm of Vogue Paris in 2001, she transformed the magazine into a chic, risk-taking publication. This week's news of her resignation surprised many people, including those who admired her unusual and unique style. We've put together 20 of the best covers from her reign at the magazine. Some are sexy, some are soft, but all have that Roitfeld touch we've come to love.
The much talked about Victoria's Secret show took place yesterday afternoon in New York City. There were a lot of questions raised about who would walk in the show as many of the Angels, including Heidi Klum, Adriana Lima and Karolina Kurkova, are either pregnant or have just given birth. New Angels were recruited to fill their spaces which included Brit model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. Click through to see all the action from the catwalk where the Black Eyed Peas Performed.
There are plenty of rumours flying around today that model Isabeli Fontana will replace Natalia Vodianova as the face of Chanel Beauty for Spring 2009. Chanel have neither confirmed nor denied the rumours, but 25 year old Brazilian model Isabeli was quoted on Fashion Spot talking about flying to Paris to shoot the campaign. Meanwhile NY magazine The Cut has ran with the story, stating that Natalia has been knocked off the Chanel campaign to make way for Isabeli.
Earlier this year Natalia and Isabeli both won the Versace ad campaign and it was suggested that the choice of two (relatively) curvy supermodels and mothers was a bold move for Donatella. Personally I think Isabeli is a great choice for Chanel's seriously seductive Spring line, but lets not write off Natalia just yet. What do you think of this news?
