Looking Back at the BAFTAs Red Carpet

We're in the midst of award season and although the majority of events have been taking place stateside, it's only a matter of weeks until the 2010 BAFTAs. The award show is the closest thing we have to the Oscars and I'm always excited to see the red carpet action. Who knows what 2010 will have in store, but I'm hoping to see Carey Mulligan, Ann Marie Duff and maybe even Emily Blunt. Here is a round up of some of the key stars who've attended the awards throughout the noughties.

Red Carpet Style at Harry Potter Premiere

Despite all the rain in London last night, the Harry Potter premiere for the latest installment, The Half-Blood Prince, took place in Leicester Square. Many stars of the film turned up for the premiere including the gorgeous Emma Watson who posed on the red carpet alongside co-stars Bonnie Wright and Evanna Lynch. Celebrity fans of the film also got dressed up including Daisy Lowe, Pixie Geldof, and Jodie Kidd. Check out what they were wearing here.

Fab Cover: Kate Moss for Vogue UK

It feels like you can't escape Ms Moss right now who just last week launched her Christmas line for Topshop. Now she is the coverstar of Vogue UK for December 2008. It's Kate's 26th (woah!) cover for the magazine which was shot by Nick Knight.

The issue also includes a Roald Dahl inspired feature starring Tim Burton and Helena Bonham Carter. It was shot by Tim Walker who is famous for his magical shoots. I love the choice of colours on the cover, gold is always perfect for Christmas and Kate (as always) looks amazing. What do you think of the cover?

Love It or Hate It? Mischa Barton's Milan Look

Actress and front row fashionista Mischa Barton was looking glowing at the Vanity Fair party at Milan Fashion Week. She went for a natural makeup look, with a rose coloured lip gloss, black lined eyes and peachy blush. Her skin always looks flawless but I thought she looked slightly tired in this picture. It could be the social whirl of Fashion Week, but I also think she suits fresher shades and pink near the eyes is always dangerous.

Her bouffant hair had shades of Helena Bonham Carter but I actually liked that Mischa was experimenting with candyfloss hair styles and the messy, slightly matte texture that is so on-trend right now.
