Last night's Evening Standard Film Awards offered some of the UK's most famous stage and screen talents the chance to shine, and Hayley Atwell and Helen McCrory definitely took that opportunity literally, wearing glistening gowns in contrasting metallic colours. Hayley's was the more revealing, a nude and silver spiderweb covered with white textured florals, beads, sequins, and feathers, with a plunging sheer panel at the front. Helen chose a gold lace gown with plenty of glittering sequins, with a mermaid train and low back. Both dresses definitely delivered sparkle, but which one did you love the most?
All of the ladies who lined the red carpet last night at the BAFTA Awards, albeit if they were dressed in black, lace, yellow or beads, looked amazing. There were however a solid few whose beauty looks stood out from the rest. As Lancôme was the official beauty sponsor of the evening, their makeup artists have shared the precise products they used to create the gorgeous glow of Adele, Hayley Atwell, Lily James and Olga Kurylenko. Take a look here at their stunning beauty styles and learn how you can re-create these looks at home on your own.
Last night at the Grosvenor House in Mayfair, models, actors and socialites gathered for the 2012 Jameson Empire Awards. Whilst the men were dapper in their suits and ties, the ladies really shined in red from all angles. Whether it be their dresses, hair, shoes, lipstick or bags, red was the colour of the evening. Check out photos from last night's fète to see what I'm talking about!
Get excited because Mulberry is about to launch yet another amazing collection of bags for Spring/Summer 2012. I was able to get a sneak peek at them at their fashion show last season, but they are going to be available for purchase on 15th February. The range is called the Travel Bag Collection and it has a cool new hardware label inspired from vintage travel steamer trunks. However, these are everyday bags that come in three sizes, three styles and cost between £ and £. The textures and colours are also pretty amazing as they come in shiny lambskin, lizard prints and haircalf. We're not talking High Street prices, but with Mulberry, at least you know you're investing in a quality piece. Even Hayley Atwell and Juno Temple have been spotted sporting these newbies. Take a look at the complete collection here and let me know which bag you like best!
As military woman Peggy Carter in Captain America, Hayley Atwell is much more of a heroine than a classic damsel in distress. We recently spoke with Hayley about taking on the role, which marked her first time working on a big-budget action movie, and what surprised her about Captain America himself, Chris Evans. Hayley talked about getting physical with Chris on set, helping to create her character's gorgeous World War II-era look, and whether Peggy might be making a return in The Avengers. Here are some highlights:

The Super Bowl is usually rife with clever ads, but I also keep my eyes peeled for the new movie trailers. If you paid close attention during this year's commercial breaks, you probably caught a handful of spots for upcoming films, including a closer look at Captain America: The First Avenger.
Chris Evans plays Steve Rogers, a scrawny military hopeful who submits his body to a research project. After entering a special scientific chamber, he emerges with a six-pack that could put The Situation to shame. The preview also includes quick glimpses at Stanley Tucci, Tommy Lee Jones, Hugo Weaving (donning his grotesque makeup as Red Skull), and love interest Hayley Atwell. Take a look and share your thoughts after the jump.
Kate Middleton and Prince William's courtship is being made into a film by US TV network Lifetime. Prince William and Prince Charles have already be cast, with Nico Evers-Swindell in the main role and Ben Cross as the father. The role of Kate Middleton is still up for grabs. While it's likely the part will go to a relative unknown, we've had fun thinking about which actresses could fit the bill. From Americans like Katie Holmes and Anne Hathaway to Brits like Gemma Arterton, click through to see our choices, and tell us who would be your pick!

The GQ Men of the Year Awards took place in London last night attracting a load of stylish people. One of the guests on the red carpet was Hayley Atwell who wore an eye catching yellow polka dot mini dress. You might remember that Ashley Greene also wore the frock earlier this year to the Nylon Young Hollywood party. Both girls have teamed the D&G dress with black peep toe heels, but it still looks quite different. I wonder, who do you think wore it better?
